Guest Brian Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 It's on again tonight, same time. I'm going to DVD-R it.
Hank Kingsley Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Well, it's the second half, right.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Yeah, it's the second half, so I'm not going to bother. I'll just netflix the DVD.
Annabelle Posted September 27, 2005 Author Report Posted September 27, 2005 the second part is so much better than the first. for the record.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I have a shitload of reading to do tonight so I'm probably just going to have someone Tivo it. Let's see if that holds true at 9. Also, all I did today at work was listen to Dylan, and it was a fine day.
Precious Roy Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Awww man, I forgot this was going to be on this week. Caught most of pt. 2, it was excellent, now there's a Charlie Rose interview with Marty... definitely need to pick up this DVD
Precious Roy Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 No, just two parts, each 90 minutes. PBS is replaying part 2 at 4am tonight/tommorow.
Hank Kingsley Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 now there's a Charlie Rose interview with Marty... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is that on the DVD?
Annabelle Posted September 28, 2005 Author Report Posted September 28, 2005 most of the critisism towards this doc is unwarranted. sure, it had its faults, but the reasons (no talk of drugs, sara, personal life) is complete b.s aside from blonde on blonde (which shoulda at least been discussed), sara had nothing to do with his music from that era. his drug addiction was alluded to, and if while never mentioned, if you didn't see how it affected him & his music at the time in the doc- you're an idiot. go watch ray.
