Guest ChikoDemono Report post Posted September 28, 2005 Picked up this title today at the local Borders. Without a second thought, it was purchased and in my backpack. I popped the DVD disc into the player and sweet, sweet nostalgia returned. I use to watch this, along with the Swamp Thing cartoon all the time, even have the action figures somewhere. Has anyone else found this DVD or have any good memories of the anti-pollution, pro-freak cartoon classic? Oh, and Uncle Lloydie's rant on big business is fantastic. Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2005 Isn't it the same disc that was included with the Tox Box set? If so, I have it.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2005 I watched the disc in the Tox Box set and it was fucking awful. Just your typical kids show from the time period with the same old plot and same old villains.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 But it was Tromariffic! I need to pick it up, because I love Toxie and Lloyd is my hero.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 But it was Tromariffic! I need to pick it up, because I love Toxie and Lloyd is my hero. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I do too. I even wore the Toxic Avenger outfit (well, a mask and a mop) for one of Lloyd's bookstore appearances. It's just really awful.
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I have a tape of the show from a dollar store I bought about 5 years ago. I thought the show very much stood the test of time.

Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 I remember the video game for Sega Genesis which sorta sucked in the sense that the controls were lame, but wasn't that bad as far as show/movie games go. One of the levels even had "Iron Man" for the background music, or at least a close ripoff of it.
