Judge Orders Abu Ghraib Photos released

Recommended Posts

Well, thank God for that, I guess. I don't understand why one would oppose something as basic as that. *shrugs*

So nine senators think this stuff's okay. Allrighty then.

Nine Senators probably don't want to restrict Presidential power in war-time. Not picking sides, just playing a lil' Devil's Advocate.

Update on the CNN story:

Earlier, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said President Bush would likely veto the defense spending bill if McCain's language were included, calling the amendment "unnecessary and duplicative."

"If it's presented, then there would be a recommendation of a veto, I believe," McClellan said.

Whattadouche. You've gone five years without vetoing a single thing and the thing you're going to call foul on is we shouldn't torture people?

I'm going to take the controversial position that allowing our country to pursue a policy of torture is a vile misuse of the privilege of presidential power, wartime or not.

We're not supposed to torture people, guys.

Yes because it's crucial that our president is built up as some infallible diety, as opposed to a normal human in a position of power able to make mistakes.

If he had the power to personally rape any woman in America would the same stance be justifiable?

The REAL torture is when Americans are made to feel guilty for supporting their president, EDWIN!!!!!

God, I get less conservative every day.

I'm probably repeating myself, but this really shouldn't be a liberal or conservative issue! When all's said and done, we're such an incredibly rich, powerful and generally MORAL nation, that we should have the ability to comport ourselves with a modicum of decorum.

We destroy every army on earth in a ground fight. If we know someone has information about nuclear weapons, fine, torture him. That's one reprehensible act weighed against the lives of millions. Torturing some innocent rube, or even someone who fired an AK-47 at our troops is, IMO, disgusting. For our administration to be hemming and hawing about armed combatants v enemy soldiers is as bad semantically as Clinton's defense of getting blowies from Monica. And I don't think I have to tell you how much worse it is to be niggling about whether we obey the Geneva Convention (something that we all should be able to LIKE) than whether we came in someone's willing cooch or mouth.

Yes the beheaders are far worse, you know why? They are fucking EVIL. No one should be comparing themselves to them on moral grounds.

If we're comparing ourselves to bloodthirsty executioners, and if Damian doesn't rollerblade, then the terrorists.... have truly won.

Like I said in Site Feedback, of all places, SUYFB! starts off so good but loses steam about halfway through and just gets awful.

It has some moments in the second half but I can't disagree. It goes from masterpiece to just plain blah so damn quickly.

the one of her face where she's crying as cocks are shoved in her mouth is the one that really makes ya feel bad for her, at least in my case. I think its because the other pictures look as if they could have been taken from any corny porn spoofing the military where-as the one I mentioned just seems more personal...if that makes sense to anybody. I might not be conveying what I mean in the right words.

It's pretty sick then. One guy is wearing camo face paint, another guy's uniform doesn't fit and the woman looks more like she has a tan than she's Iraqi. Odds are very high this is actually from a Russian porn film where mock rape is a really big market now, especially evil soldiers.

Plus it's hard to believe these are true picture when THIS is at the top of the page:

(Please Note: Many of the photographs showing the rape of Iraqi women and the sodomization of Iraqi POW's at the Abu Ghraib prison are now at USA pornographic websites pointing to the possibility of collusion between the depraved US soldiers in the pictures and US based Jewish pornographers. Many of these photographs were also freely disseminated to US occupation forces, perhaps to inflame their nefarious desires and to motivate them to strike out against the Iraqi populace in these perverse ways.)
