Ultimate Spider-Man

So Ult Spider-Man came out this past week. So, who played it and how is it? Is it different from the Spider-Man 2 game? And how is it playing as Venom?

Venom is pretty sweet but still not at Spidey's level. Instead of web-slinging Venom can use his tentacles as kind of grabbling hooks to pull himself to wherever he's going. That and he has the SUPER JUMP which allow you to basically leap tall buildings in a.........yeah, you get it.

 

Game is lots of fun. Battling Wolverine as Venom is a treat.

I find it funny that Venom jumps better than the Hulk does.

I picked this up this past Tuesday. I really enjoy the game so far. My only complaint, and the only part I've really gotten stuck at is having to race the Beetle. Thats quite a pain in the ass.

They fixed up the biggest problem with Spider-Man 2, thank God. There is actually stuff to do between missions that doesn't get instantly tedious.

I don't like the fighting system and the swinging system was better in Spiderman 2. Besides that this is a good game and I have enjoyed it. But I have been playing Burnout Revenge so I haven't had much time to play this.

But then I remember the shitass version of Spderman2 for PC (as compared to the console version) and I'm skeptical

Well he didn't really die it just that they never found his body. So it's believeable that Venom can come back seeing how the game takes place a few months after the last Venom issue.

Arachnoman (think the WCW Character's color of outfit)

The Black Outfit Spidey.

They didn't fuck over PC users this time, you get the same game as consoles.

Got this game for Xmas and beat it in two days. Like everyone else said pretty fun but, short. And it's blast playing as Venom.

I think it sucks. There's like 2 hours of actual content. The whole game is just random missions to get the next story level. Chase scene. Boss fight. Repeat.

 

The chases are boring and annoying. The combat is mindless. The whole game feels sloppy and rushed. The only good thing is the comic book style cutscenes.
