Art Sandusky Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Time to gobble up another top 10 team. This is good eatin'.
Bored Posted October 7, 2005 Author Report Posted October 7, 2005 AlwaysPissedOff's picks Syracuse Illinois Michigan Texas Navy Missouri TCU Tennessee Texas Tech Louisville Iowa Colorado State Texas A&M California Ohio State
teke184 Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I know I won... Navy pulled it out against the Air Farce while Texas Tech pulled a late drive out of their asses to beat Nebraska.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I believe I won by virtue of tiebreaker.
CanadianChris Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Total slaughter on my part. I swept all 6 differing matchups.
iggymcfly Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I made shitty picks this week and got a ton of games wrong. Luckily, I was going against the only winless team in the contest, so I still managed to eke out a 1-point win.

Cuban Linx Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Got every differing pick in my matchup wrong, looks like i can say goodbye to being ranked after this week. That 0-3 conference record doesn't look pretty either. Lousy Air Force/Nebraska/California.
Bored Posted October 9, 2005 Author Report Posted October 9, 2005 Agent Bond34 still is #1 although Spaceman Spiff is keeping it close. Poor CanadianChris' strength of schedule is murdered by DLK's 3 point effort this week. Good thing it's only 10% of the ranking this year. AoO is 5-1 but they have the easiest schedule to this point and are only 23rd in correct pick % so they still can't crack the Top 10. Cartman is only 3-3 but they are shining light in the god awful Pac-8 as they are #3 in correct picks. And don't look now but Edwin MacPhisto is making a charge. Bored Championship Series Rankings thru Week 6 1. Florida - Agent Bond34 2.4 2. Miami - Spaceman Spiff 2.9 3. LSU - teke184 5.45 4. Oklahoma - Damaramu 6.35 5. Georgia Tech - iggymcfly 6.85 6. USC - Cartman 7.55 7. Syracuse - CanadianChris 7.7 8. Maryland - MarvinisaLunatic 8.6 9. Virginia - Edwin MacPhisto 9.3 10. Alabama - AlwaysPissedOff 9.35
teke184 Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I think there's a BoredCS Texas-Ohio State quality matchup in the making... If I'm correct, I (#3 LSU) play #1 Florida this week. This is gonna be interesting.
iggymcfly Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I like the new ranking system a lot better than last year's. It seems to be much fairer so far, and the days of consistently having ranked teams with losing records seem to be fading into the past. At least now, when somebody goes up or down, I can kind of tell why.
Fökai Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Good win, Bored. Damn, I really had a good week picking the ranked match-ups. I would've done everything the same except for the Michigan/Minnesota game. I didn't go with my gut instinct, second-guessing the Gophers for some god-awful reason.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Only person to get to 10 picks this week? I'm back, bitches. ::hubris::
teke184 Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Only person to get to 10 picks this week? I'm back, bitches. ::hubris:: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not the ONLY one... Thanks to UCLA beating Cal, I did it too.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Well played, guvnor. Well-played indeed...
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Well hot damn, Im in the top 10.
Damaramu Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 How am I ranked so high with 2 losses? Is it b/c I get a lot of picks right?
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 See, now this was kind of funny, since I looked at Kotz's picks and jokingly harassed him that I should change my Tennessee pick to Georgia when I saw he picked Cal against UCLA. Had I done that, I probably would have won. Fuck you, Tennessee.
Art Sandusky Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Man, I got too confident. My team's still young. Young, but talented!
CanadianChris Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 The Big Atlantic is the SEC of this contest. Five teams in the top 10.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Then I'm Kentucky. Except Kentucky has a win.
Guest I miss Test. Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 9 right? I need to get more wrong. Maybe take all road teams. Or pick the team with the prettier uniforms.
teke184 Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 How am I ranked so high with 2 losses? Is it b/c I get a lot of picks right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. Yes, you've probably gotten a lot of picks right. 2. EVERYONE but Illinois (ineligible), Miami (Spaceman Spiff), and Florida (AgentBond) has at least two losses. Those three only have one loss.
teke184 Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 The Big Atlantic is the SEC of this contest. Five teams in the top 10. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not so fast... The Mid-South has 4 teams in the top 10. Don't short-change the ACC though... V-Tech and Florida State are both Top 10 in the real poll and both Miami and Boston College aren't far behind.
