David Carr about to join J.P Losman on the "time to rethink our QB" pile. Joey Harrington heading that way quickly as well.

Meanwhile, the Ravens are getting their entire team ejected one player at a time. Plus they are losing by 18 to the Lions. Ravens have 21 penalties for 146 yards.

Because of how pathetic the Texans line is, Carr never has time to do anything.

52-3 Green Bay.  Might want to save some of those points, guys.

Yeah, but how often does an offensive line take the credit or blame for the poor performance of a quarterback?

Also, TB is LIFELESS without Cadallic...I mean god, they really suck without him.

The last 3 years, it's always been "Houston needs a offensive line"...So David Carr has always had that security in the fact it's the OL's fault and not his. The blame hasn't been spread to him yet...

atlanta just got fucking robbed.

I think the rule is that if the referees call a guy out of bounds and blow the whistle, the play is dead and unchallengeable. That's only a challenge if the coach believes the runner steps out but the referees don't call it.

Can the Patriots stop ANYONE on 3rd down?

It's time.

And I have no idea what the Bucs are doing. They have managed to move 10 yards in 40 seconds needing only a field goal to win the game.

Houston needs to plug in it's second stringer and see if it's really the OL or Carr. At 0-4, it can't hurt to check it out.

Their back-up is Tony Banks...that really won't prove nothing to them.

It could mean saving Carr's career by saving him from concussions (with all those sacks, Im shocked he hasn't had one yet, that i can recall at least)

It must suck being a Bears fan, Knowing your team needs a comeback and remembering "Oh fuck, Orton is our QB"

I hate Tom Brady and I have no reason for hating him other than he started at Michigan. As a Patriots fan, I need help.

And it can get worse than a rookie. It could be the Ravens offense against the Lions.

Oh surprises of surprises, Mariano Vinatieri comes through again. They can't do this every week, though; this defense needs to shape up. Still, considering their schedule, even if they lose to Denver next week going 3-3 isn't bad.

I picked aganist my Hometown Packes for the 1st time this year in my office pool this week. I was the only person to pick the Saints...Foolish by me?

Obviously, yes.

FUCKING CHRIST, 52-3. That ALMOST makes up for losing the last three games by a total of six points, and I bet they were really stomping ass to please the fans who were pretty much calling for Sherman's head already. 1-4 though, is going to be much more difficult to overcome this year than last year. They go into their bye week with half the team injured, so maybe it's coming at a good time, and next up is Minnesota in Minneapolis. Should be a hell of a game.

Dallas is up 14-0 with 7:41 left in the 1st quarter.

Shit, what's up with Philly and giving up big leads all of a sudden? This is kind of a disturbing trend for them...

Make that 24-3 Dallas on a fourth down conversion with a little under 5 1/2 minutes left in the first half. Good lawd.

Also, tommorrow's Brett Favre's 36th birthday, so maybe that explains the great game. He gave way to Aaron Rodgers in the 4th quarter who did little more than just log in some game time. Ironically, I was reading an article earlier this week who said that if the Packers start losing big today, they should just start throwing in Aaron Rodgers during garbage time...

I had no idea why I picked Dallas over Philly but I'm glad I did.

What in the fucking hell is wrong with the Eagles D?

Jevon Kearse has become awful and they still get no production from the other DE, Michael Lewis is looking lost for some reason and Lito Sheppard last year was a big play CB, now he just gives up the big plays. The middle of their defense (DTs and Trotter) is playing very well, notice all pressure comes up the middle and runs to the outside have been gouging them.

They also haven't been respecting Terry Glenn's ability (perhaps rightfully so coming into this game) and it's killed them thus far.

Where would this Eagles defense be without Trotter, seriously. I don't think they could be more one-dimensional if the Philly defense fails them. They have no running game, and really haven't had one for years. It's all McNabb, Owens, and the other Philly receivers. When Philly's defense fails them, and teams force them to do something different on offense, Philly looks lost. It's been a recurring theme all season.

Well, the positive for their offensive philosophy is that being down doesn't really matter since they throw a ton anyway. The way you beat the Eagles is to get pressure on McNabb and force him to get the happy feet like has been happening today.

Where would they be without Trotter? Simple answer. Fucked. Just take the Falcons ability to run at will from the opener and add that to their current problems.

The problem with Terry Glenn is can you really give him the Moss treatment and throw a safety overtop him all day? Not really. Sheppard is supposed to be able to stay step for step with him, but he just hasn't.
