I'd get it, but it's so expensive. I wasn't even able to convince myself to buy the second Kubrick collection, and I'm a bigger fan of Kubrick than Hitch.

I was referring to the TV series, which I'd probably get regardless of price. Unfortunately, they're using DVD 18s again and to the surprise of no one, there are already issues being reported.

 

The 15-disc film set from Hitch would be an ideal purchase during the DDD sale in November.

I am going to pick up the Warriors DVD for my dad's birthday. Oh and I already ordered the Val Lewton box set as well. I wouldn't say I'm as into Lewton as I am old Universal stuff (it's a bit dry and literate for my taste) but I really like some of the titles in it like The Seventh Victim, The Body Snatcher, Leopard Man, etc.

I had my Lewton collection on pre-order for months and it looks like DDD didn't get enough to fill all the pre-orders because it's already on back order and I didn't get mine shipped out

Hitchcock Presents wasn't really that good, I don't think. I could guess the ending to pretty much all of them a few minutes in. As I may have mentioned before, Twilight Zone is about a third great, a third good, and a third bad, but even still, I like it better. I'm still buying Presents, though.

That Hitchcock masterpiece collection looks really good, but will it contain all of the extras from the individual releases? (Tippi Hedren's screen tests, etc..)
