Cheech Tremendous Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 I think people are overreacting just a little bit here. Saying they want him a "main event level position" is a lot different from saying he will be main eventing Wrestlemania. I'm pretty sure that they consider Carlito and Masters to be in a main event level position right now, but neither is going to sniff the WM main event.

Guest fanofcoils Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Hopefully Ken Kennedy has been traded to Raw or something as he wasn't on the tier3down! spoilers. Hopefully they traded RVD for him, cause I think RVD isn't that useful to the company, and has as much value to them as the Dudleys do. I really hope they release him so he can go to Japan/TNA or something.

Downhome Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 I like KK, a lot, and view him as more than just "average". Besides, I said "most", not all.

Mystery Eskimo Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Oh come on, you can't compare the two yet. Kennedy has had ONE pay per view match, and that was against Bob Holly. Give him a chance. Honestly, half the people in this folder seem to have an incredible ability to deduce the talent of workers almost sight unseen.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 And the other half suck his dick on the basis of a few matches. I'd say the half that says he's average or overrated are closer to the truth then those who let him drip down their chin on a consistent basis.
Downhome Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 From what I have seen of him, I like him a lot better than Edge. I only have his character to go on so far, since he hasn't wrestled that much. But by all accounts, he's solid in the ring, and there is a lot more to his character than what we've seen so far. I've never seen Edge as anything more than average, but I will admit that he seems to be improving both in terms of his ability in the ring and especially his character. I'll eventually come around to the guy, it's already started. Back to KK though, and like I've said before, in a year or so the majority of people will be looking at him as the type of guy who only comes around every 5-10 years.
Downhome Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 At least I wont be able to be called a bandwagon jumper this time next year.
cabbageboy Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Actually yes Kennedy was on the Smackdown spoilers this week but just to introduce himself or something. I don't think he had a match. Trading RVD back to Smackdown at this point makes zero sense. And how could anyone think RVD has no use on Raw? Raw has a truly horrid face side of the roster once you get beyond Cena. What other face do they have that anyone would want to see in a title match? Flair is way too old, Big Show way too stale, Michaels is played in the title scene. RVD would give the Raw face side a major lift. What would Kennedy do on Raw? They have heels as it is, whereas Smackdown has no credible heels whatsoever.
Promoter Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Mr. WHO? The guy's on tv for a month and they want to mega push him? Even Orton I understood because of his family tree(look how that turned out just like all the ohter flops since 2001). Who knows maybe he'll turn out to be Vince's illegitimate son. Kennedy against HHH at Mania. That's the ticket. Battle of the Mcmahons.
