bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Yea, I watched it last night and the subtitles scene was brilliant. They need to stop writing off Ted's potential girls so quickly.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 KNK: Yeah oh well. CanadianChris: Who's your fave on HIMYM? I'd say mine is either Barney or Marshall. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Barney owns.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 What ever happened to giving something a chance? They give these shows 2 weeks and then they're gone.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Head Cases deserved to get cancelled. It debuted to horribly low ratings, and then dropped 50%. Caught Threshold on Friday, it was boring.
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Alyson Hannigan is a goddess, I'm glad How I met Your Mother got picked up.

muzz 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Although I'm not able to watch... almost any of these shows down here in Oz, I'm glad Neil Patrick Harris is in a successful sitcom, since I thought Stark Raving Mad deserved a better run than it had.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Are you not able to use BitTorrent, Bob? I had last night's show downloaded in under an hour this morning.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 I'm uploading the file for you, Bobbo. I think Bob's behind a school firewall that won't allow him to torrent - I had the same problem.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Yea, I can't use bit torrent. That's why it took me forever to get SNL, Downhome had to dl and send to me. EW recently praised How I Met Your Mother as one of the top new series. I love my mean spirited shows like AD and The Office, but it's nice getting to watch a sitcom that has a heart and really loves its characters.

Guest JMA Report post Posted October 19, 2005 To be fair to Ted McGinley, he joined Happy Days when it was long past due to be cancelled. He was on Dynasty during it's final years as well as The Love Boat. As far as Married With Children, Ted was on that show for years. I also enjoyed the Jefferson Darcy character alot more than Steven Rhodes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> agreed, he was a welcome addition to that show... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Married...With Children seems to be the exception to the Ted McGinley Rule. A "reverse McGinley," if you will. Besides, we all know that Seven was the real problem. Good thing he didn't last long.
