oh i also really like the Jericho-Booker T-RVD match the night after Survivor Series 2002 for the N°1 contender's spot.

Jericho doing the Five Star was pretty cool.

Wasn't the RVD match from RAW the night after SS 2002 the one where he was put in a handicap hardcore match against the Dudleyz? I remember RVD going for a 5-star onto D'von who was on a table. D'von rolled out of the way and RVD broke the table with his FACE. Then to top it off RVD took 2, 3-D's to end the match (because it took 2 to break the other table).

No, that was right after Survivor Series 2001.

Weird. I remember hating that match because they jobbed out RVD when I thought it would be the start of a huge push after the Alliance went kaput.

Yea I remember now. For some weird reason I lost my mind and thought the Alliance angle ended in '02 instead of '01. Its funny how much time has passed since then. I didn't think the match had a bad finish. RVD had the Dudleyz beat by himself, and it took a fuck-up on his end, as well as the Dudleyz KILLING him with those table spots to beat him. Even though he lost, I thought it made him look fairly strong.

Steiners vs Heavenly Bodies, Survivor Series 1993.

You mean Rock n Roll Express vs. The Heavenly Bodies, right?

Whoops, I meant Steiners vs Heavenly Bodies from Summerslam 1993. Although, granted, Rock N Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies was an excellent match as well.

I haven't seen this match in years, but I can still clearly remember parts of it four years on, which is testament to good it must have been for a TV match. There was also a nice neckbreaker spot, as well as the two end 3-Ds and the Five Star Frog Splash through the table like you mentioned - they picked the perfect camera angle that showed RVD's facefirst landing completely shattering the table.

A couple of matches that I enjoyed:

Steamboat/Dustin Rhodes vs Arn Anderson/Zybsko- Clash from 93 I believe

HHH,X-Pac, Benoit,Saturn, Malenko vs Rikishi,Rock, Too Cool and Foley

Raw 2000

Steamboat vs Luger -Great American Bash 89 well known but you see why Luger always got the God push

Malenko vs Scotty 2 Hotty-best LH match in modern WWE history

Backlash 2001

There are more, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Steamboat-Rhodes vs. Arn/Larry Z was Clash in November '91...also the night Rude debuted in WCW and beat Sting for the US title.

Some other matches I had forgotten about.:

Liger vs. Pillman @ SuperBrawl 2 in Feb. 92-Pillman regains the WCW Light-heavyweight title.

Magnum T.A. vs. Tully Blanchard for the US title at Starrcade '85 in "I Quit" match

Two from Living Dangerously '99

RVD vs. Jerry Lynn for the ECW TV title...match was to end in a time-limit draw but Lynn asks for 5 more minutes and RVD wins.

Taz vs. Sabu-ECW World Title-FTW Rules...a main event lot of people forget about

Two from the Starrcade '95 card from the NJPW/WCW challenge- Ohtani vs. Eddie Guerrero and Liger vs. Benoit

Eddie G vs. Syxx (aka Sean Waltman) @ Souled Out '97 in their ladder match for the US title...on a PPV that sucked balls, that was a solid match

On RAW when they had Davey Boy Smith vs. Owen Hart in the final round of their tournament to declare their first European champ.

Benoit-Jericho best of 3 falls match @ Summerslam 2000.
