The wrestlers should be compelled by their allegiance to their respective brands to band together, and thereby put their personal animosity with one another aside for the time being. Therefore, there shouldn't be any championship matches this year. This is what I'd like to see: Guerrero/Mysterio/Orton/Christian vs. Angle/Flair/Jericho/Eugene HBK/Kane/Shelton/Carlito vs. Taker/BookerT/Psicosis/Juventud Cena/Show/Edge/HHH vs. Batista/Benoit/JBL/Kennedy Trish Stratus vs. Victoria -- Strap match for women's Title Bob Orton Jr/Valentine/Orndorff/Dibiase vs. Piper/Duggan/Roberts/Snuka Austin vs. McMahon --Battle for Jim Ross (with Hogan interfering on behalf of McMahon)

They're united because they're on the same brand, not because they like each other or really have anything in common. Plus, I think having the Mexicools team with the Undertaker would be a funny dynamic.

I will however break down the flaws in your card just to help you see what is wrong with the picture. Guerrero/Mysterio/Orton/Christian vs. Angle/Flair/Jericho/Eugene: Jericho is gone and won't likely be back til next year. Eugene is too low on the totem pole to be in such a match (especially judging from his peers in the match). Guerrero and Mysterio had just feuded, so it makes ZERO sense, even in an unified team angle, for them to team up. Angle and Flair won't team, especially when Angle is in midst of a title hunt and Flair's a bit busy being beaten to shit by HHH. HBK/Kane/Shelton/Carlito vs. Taker/BookerT/Psicosis/Juventud: Already explained the flaw in Taker and Mexicools. Taker also won't want to be in a team match. The Raw team features 3 faces but 1 heel? Weird. Cena/Show/Edge/HHH vs. Batista/Benoit/JBL/Kennedy: Hunter won't want to team up with the guy he will feud with eventually. They also won't team Cena with Edge. Show's placement here is fine. The SD's team sounds ok in an unified team booking. Only change would be Batista out of this match to have a title match. Ditto with Cena. Trish Stratus vs. Victoria -- Strap match for women's Title: I'm fine with this match, just not the stipulation. Bob Orton Jr/Valentine/Orndorff/Dibiase vs. Piper/Duggan/Roberts/Snuka: Uhhh? Austin vs. McMahon --Battle for Jim Ross (with Hogan interfering on behalf of McMahon): They won't have Austin wrestle matches when they want him ready to go against Hogan at Mania.

All the teams made sense. None of them was with random people and none of them were teamed with someone they were feuding with. If its something you want to do, then I think the best way to it is apoint captains and have the captain's choose their teammates. How's the best way to do it, I would think.

Apparently, the 5.0 rating that the Austin-McMahons segment garnered at homecoming went to the McMahons' heads...

Guest rawmvp Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I wouldn't call Survivor Series a throwaway PPV. It's one of the BIG 4, and it's the 2nd oldest show behind WrestleMania. As for Jericho, he mentioned in an interview that he might come back for Taboo Tuesday, especially if the fans vote him in. And as for Taker, he's a face, so he should be able to exist in a team environment. He did at Survivor Series 95, and that was when his character was even more solitary and enigmatic. Plus, I don't recall Taker balking backstage about being on a team. If he can be in tag-team matches on Smackdown, he can be on a Survivor Series team.
