The Power is Back?

Recommended Posts

SPOILER WARNING!

- According to promos that aired during Smackdown in Canada, all four McMahons will appear on RAW this Monday "united" to start a "new era." This may have something to do with the new phrase, "The Power is Back," that WWE recently trademarked.

During last night’s Smackdown airing in Canada, they ran commercials for Raw that said, “a new era begins Monday as all four McMahons will appear together in a united front.”

My money is on them returning to feud with.... Mick Foley. Shane VS Foley. AGAIN.

Eh, only if we get Shane jumping off the Titantron again. Several times.

...man, I hope that isn't what the whole "Power is Back" is referring to.

What the hell are you going to do with four heel McMahons *AND* a heel GM? They can't even do their "Book a face in a handicap match against the Dudleyz" deal any more.

But, luckily, KANE is returning just in time.

Well..Vince was the Higher Power and he is back so..ugh..

I doubt "The Power is Back" has anything to do with the McMahons on RAW. They use the same phrase to open Smackdown and the McMahons are rarely on Smackdown anymore.

Bischoff: Tonight...you are going to face...KANE!

Vince..and in that very same ring, you will also face...SHANE!

Whoever the announcer is: I guess they reconciled their differences..

I'm leaning towards ending this brand split myself and I was for it big time initially. However, if it's a haphazard sloppy plan they might as well keep the brands separate. What's we'll likely see is Invasion part million with Shane taking over with Jim Ross and Heyman or some kind of crap.

Now, all I can think of is what direction this company plans on taking. I see a few scenarios and most don't look pleasing. Anyways....

#1) End the brand split eventually or tweak it somehow. The Mcmahons don't even show up on smackdown. I can see Shane Mcmahon not being apart of this new unity and probably being sent to smackdown. Stephanie and HHH take over RAW and overthrow Linda and Vince.

#2)Mcmahonmania runs wild where we get Hogan coming back and its the basis for Hogan/Austin. Dumb, but they had to include themselves in another dream scenario with the wwe vs. ecw. wcw storyline.

#3) They fire Bischoff and Long and they return with Jim Ross and ECW or some other convoluted story.

#4) Shane and Stephanie finally take over both brands and destory the old guard.

#5) Nothing changes and the Mcmahons just hog the spotlight for ego purposes.

I guess this belongs here also:

I'm shocked that there isn't more talk about Bishoff and what will happen to him now. I mean, if we have all of the McMahons back on TV, just what in the hell do they even need a RAW GM for anymore?

If they all stick around, and if we count Bishoff, that's FIVE authority figures on a single show now.

I just hope they have something planned for Bishoff, because I don't want to see him go anywhere.

I'll vote most likely to happen.

Edit: Oh by the way, according to WWE.com, looks like Stone Cold will making an appearance tonight. Its 1999 all over again!

For some reason I keep on thinking their are going to end the brand split.  Which I hope doesn't happen.

There's no way. They can't make money from running two seperate PPVs a month if they end the split.

Oh, they'll think of something to get into people's pockets. Don't forget that there REALLY ISN'T TWO COMPANIES right now. It's the same company putting on the same ppv shows each month. They could just do the same damn thing under one roof although it would look too obvious as a cash grabber.

JR needs to bring in a fake Muhammed Hassan and a fake Ultimate Warrior.

Can you imagine how Warrior would react if a caricature of him was paired with an angry Muslim?
