frisco 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 The camera cuts to Batman, wearing his trademark tight latex suit. The Batman runs his fingers over his prominent chin. A perplexed look flashes across his face. Robin: Golly Gee Batman…what’s wrong… Batman focuses intently on two wires extending from a series of long, black cyllenders. Batman I must cut one of these wires to deactivate the bomb. If I cut the wrong one Gotham will explode…killing millions of people. But which one do I cut Robin? I’m not sure… A terrified look flashes over Robins face. Robin Holy dilemma Batman…we only have 10 seconds to decided… A large digital display shows 10 seconds quickly winding down. 10! 9! 8! Batman Maybe the yellow one… Robin Yeah…I’ve always hated yellow Batman… 7! 6! 5! Batman On the other side it might be the red wire…perhaps they want us to cut the yellow and ignore the red…thereby leading us to the wrong conclusion… Robin Holy Cow Batman…that is a possibility… 4! 3! Batman Decisions…decisions… 2! Robin I think you better pick up the pace a bit there, Batman! Suddenly the screen in the cinema flickers. A loud, static sound fills the air as the audience grumble in annoyance at the untimely interruption. The image on the screen suddenly flickers to that of a beach. The tide gently rolls over the sand as soft, soothing music plays in the background. The sound of the waves crashing over the sand slowly increases as the music fades to mute. Slowly the image of a Dragon appears on the screen, as the familiar opening notes of David Bowies, “China Girl” starts to play in the background. The screen turns to black as a bold, white text comes into focus… The Joshi Dragon returns… Coming soon… The interruption ends as soon as it began, as the movie resumes right at the start of the end credits.
