News http://news.yahoo.com/fc/us/us_congress HOUSTON - Rep. Tom DeLay turned himself Thursday in at the Harris County sheriff's office, where he was photographed, fingerprinted and released on bond on state conspiracy and money laundering charges. "He posted $10,000 bond and they have left the bonding office," Lt. John Martin with the sheriff's department said. DeLay, accompanied by his attorney, Dick DeGuerin, showed up about 12:15 p.m., appeared before a judge and was gone in less than 30 minutes, Martin said.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 He did a good job making his mugshot not look mugshotty.
Guest Biggles Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 Ha! I knew it would look like that. I bet he had a makeup artist on him just before he went into the precints. I bet another guy came up to do a light reading with a meter before taking the picture. How come he doesn't have to hold up a number?
Art Sandusky Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I'm just pissed that Michael Moore's idea of a white collar version of Cops doesn't exist. DeLay, the BALCO guy, whoever, you don't get to see these guys hunted down and jacked to the ground, no matter what the offense.
