Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2005 Not I, it looks like one big pile of shit. And the reviews are finally coming in at RT, with 29% and 20%. The trailers look horrible, just horrible, so I doubt that it's anything I even would consider "good" bad. Most of the good reviews are from the "geek" crowd, saying that it's a pretty good film version of a video game, and that may be true, but that doesn't mean it's a good movie. There is literally zero reason why Vin Diesel should draw 100 million in some stuff while the Rock can't. I assume the wrestling aspect is a drawback. And last weekend unleashed the horrible FOG so that is a to be avoided. I'm a little bit ticked that Serenity is already out of theaters cause I was going to double dip. This probably won't be the best movie I see this month or this year, for that matter but dammit, I'm going to enjoy myself. Brainless enjoyable military fun, Rock steals the show and keeps the movie from being a shitter. Not enough monsters though, but letft open for a sequel.
