I'll stay conservative and say the Prime Time Special will do about 1.2-1.3. Anything over a 1.6 should be considered a major success. Anything below what they normally do on Saturday should be seen as very disappointing.

A lot of it is going to be on Spike. You figure since TUF is ending very soon, that they would want to get behind TNA even more, so this "should" be getting some advertising. Spike should push it since it's prime time and they get all the ad rev from the show.

I think that's a bit high. Seriously, a 1.0 would be a major success. Anything above a 1.5 would be astronomical.

I don't know what to think.

The Saturday Night ratings have gone up...so they should look at next Thursday as a success...right?

I'll predict a 1.35 for the night. A moderate success compared to Saturday late night...but by far and away the most people to ever watch a TNA show.

They seem to be moving all uphill at the moment.

Now with that said, I pose a question. Factoring out the IWC, will the Jarrett title win turn off marks?

I don't think the pure fact that Jarrett is NWA Champion will neccessarily turn the non IWC fans away. If they're looking for an alternative to the WWE, they probably won't be put off real easily. And I still think Jarrett, for all his faults, is better than the alternative (Cena) in the ring.

The problem isn't solely "Jeff Jarrett, NWA Champion". It's how they book Jeff Jarrett, NWA Champion.

In ring wise...no one can honestly tell me that Cena or Batista is better.

But that isn't even the point.

The point is that TNA has a plan. They have a plan to build their own stars. They have a plan for Monty Brown, and Samoa Joe, and as always AJ Styles.

If Spike doesn't advertise the hell out of this, the rating could end up slightly disappointing since most of the audience seems to be creatures of habit with the numbers staying about the same slightly trending upwards.

The Jarrett title win is turning a lot of people off because all people are noting that Jarrett has won the belt before or during all their TV debuts and/or specials. Which shows no faith in the current Champ and makes it look like Jarrett is the centerpiece of the company, when he shouldn't be.

I think the rating will do between 1.5 and 2.0.

Regardless how much we hate Jarrett, he's a better wrestler than both Batista and John Cena, either way you look at it. And I dont like Jarrett either.

I'll be the high picker and predict a 2.0
