So, and sorry if it's been addressed, but does anyone know the story on this Super Street Fighter II Turbo remake for XBox Live? I'm a big SF fan; I'm really excited; but, I'm a little sketchy on the details. I know it's HD ready, and I know the arthouse that does the comics is redoing the art. But, like, when is it coming out? And what features will it have? My 360 is in the shop right now (blinky blinky blinky), so I'm a little out of the loop.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is the new one. Release date is "Q4 2007". It's also coming out on the PS3.

What's up about the new one? I mean is there anything actually new to the series or is it the same game and they just up'ed the speed of the game again?

Rant, I still haven't gotten into playing Rainbow six vegas yet. I am going to play it today before I start going online and letting you kick my ass and get bragging rights.

A buddy of mine picked up The Bigs, said it was pretty fun. And he doesn't really like baseball. I put it on layaway, so I won't have it for about 3 more weeks, but I've always liked arcade-style sports games, even if I do prefer sims. I've still got about half a season in MLB to keep me occupied til then.

So in other words, nothing to exciting?

Unless you find completely reworked, HD-quality sprites, backgrounds, and art exciting, no.

then NO! it is.

Okay, so I have finally started playing rainbow six vegas, and maybe I need to pay more attention to how to infiltrate a room because its all seeming a little random right now. Its a fun, could be addictive game, but I don't like a could of things.

A: No "dive" button. Really, if someone you didn't see just shot you, you would dive behind some cover. Common sense there but you can't do it here.

B: The Corner peek to first person transistion is kinda weird and will take some getting used to.

I think Gears has kinda spoiled me, although it is kinda cool not having to shoot a guy 6000 times for him to die.

Rainbow Six is a lot deeper than Gears.

A.) SWAT teams don't dive, it's not an action movie. Good movements will give you the advantage over your enemies, just like real life. The trick to Rainbow Six is to learn the maps and choke points and adjust to them.

B.)I prefer the 1st person view switching to 3rd person when leaning, I didn't like the 3rd person aspect of Gears that much.

Rainbow Six is cool because at first if you learn to shoot accurately you can do well, but then as you learn to move more efficiently the game opens up even more.

Or, if you didn't hate whitey so much, you would have accepted my invite for some terrorist hunt.

Yeah, see I tend to think that if I walk around a corner and there are two guys with guns there that I didn't see before, I am not going to slowly jog back around the corner and get shot 4 times on the way there.

Those fuckers weren't there. I sat there peeked around the corner, as soon as I turned, one guy peeked around his corner and another just ran out there. Fuckers. Being able to say "Oh shit" and get back around the corner would have been nice. Kinda like in GRAW, that run and dive to the ground thing.

With that said, I do like that the AI is smart-ish though. Like they try to flank you and crap sometimes.
