This Week in College Football 11/21 - 11/26

Recommended Posts

TD Nevada with about 1:15 left (clock is broken).

Barring Fresno State pulling 11 points out of their asses in the next minute and change, they're losing tonight.

Fresno TD with about 50 seconds left.

Now they have to get an onsides kick and try to do it again.

2 pt. conversion good.

I thought to myself after the kick return that the only bad thing was that the defense would have to go back on the field again. They are completely gassed and it showed on that drive. Harris should have had the foresight to call a timeout during that drive to get the defense a breather. Going to take a miracle now for Stanford to pull this off without Trent Edwards in there.

If ND loses this then is Oregon assured of a BCS bowl?

I'd say it would be a good possibility...

The Fiesta had been creaming itself over the possibility of Penn State vs. Notre Dame.

With Notre Dame out of the picture, their choices come down to Ohio State, Miami, Oregon, and either West Virginia or the winner of Virginia Tech vs. Florida State in the ACC title game.

The best possibility out of those certainly appears to be Oregon.

Good golly, looking at Notre Dame's offensive stats, how don't they have like 60 points?
