Vern Gagne Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 SMU took Utep behind the proverbial woodshed, allowing Tulsa to sneak into the Conference USA title game against Central Florida.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Great kickoff return by Stanford! Pending the xp, it's 23-20. edit. Good. 23-21.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 TD Nevada with about 1:15 left (clock is broken). Barring Fresno State pulling 11 points out of their asses in the next minute and change, they're losing tonight.
Vern Gagne Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Someone wasn't ready to play this week.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Fresno TD with about 50 seconds left. Now they have to get an onsides kick and try to do it again. 2 pt. conversion good.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Nevada recovers with 49 seconds left. They need to get a First Down to outlast Fresno's 2 Time Outs.
Bored Posted November 27, 2005 Author Report Posted November 27, 2005 I thought to myself after the kick return that the only bad thing was that the defense would have to go back on the field again. They are completely gassed and it showed on that drive. Harris should have had the foresight to call a timeout during that drive to get the defense a breather. Going to take a miracle now for Stanford to pull this off without Trent Edwards in there.
Vern Gagne Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Notre Dame answers Stanford with a TD. 30-21 Notre Dame.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Stanford's pass defense is softer than cream cheese right now.
Urban Warfare Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Missed it! Stanford still in it.
Urban Warfare Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 YES! Stanford down to the 5 yard line.
Bored Posted November 27, 2005 Author Report Posted November 27, 2005 HOLY SHIT!!!! STANFORD INSIDE THE FIVE!
CanadianChris Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Wow, Stanford has first and goal with under 2 minutes left. What a throw.
Urban Warfare Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 I'm not so sure it was, it looked like the Irish corner either slipped or thought the Stanford QB would be sacked.
UZI Suicide Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 If ND loses this then is Oregon assured of a BCS bowl?
teke184 Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 If ND loses this then is Oregon assured of a BCS bowl? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd say it would be a good possibility... The Fiesta had been creaming itself over the possibility of Penn State vs. Notre Dame. With Notre Dame out of the picture, their choices come down to Ohio State, Miami, Oregon, and either West Virginia or the winner of Virginia Tech vs. Florida State in the ACC title game. The best possibility out of those certainly appears to be Oregon.
Bored Posted November 27, 2005 Author Report Posted November 27, 2005 Not gonna get too excited yet, still a lot of time for Notre Dame.
CanadianChris Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 TOUCHDOWN!! They left ND too much time, though. Irish should be able to get into FG range.
Guest Leelee Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 OMG. Notre Dame lost. Ty would have won this game! RAYCISM11
SilverPhoenix Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 If ND loses this then is Oregon assured of a BCS bowl? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If ND loses this, I think cabbageboy and the rest of the Big East contigent will have a collective heartattack.
Urban Warfare Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 It's great to see Quinn spreading the ball around.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Georgia near the Georgia Tech 20 with about 4 minutes left in the game. Score is currently tied at 7. TD GEORGIA~!
Urban Warfare Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Damn, Notre Dame ball inside the five.
Urban Warfare Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Georgia just scored a touchdown, they are up 14-7.
Guest Leelee Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Good golly, looking at Notre Dame's offensive stats, how don't they have like 60 points?
CanadianChris Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Good golly, looking at Notre Dame's offensive stats, how don't they have like 60 points? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Turnovers.
Bored Posted November 27, 2005 Author Report Posted November 27, 2005 Well 51 seconds of having the lead was fun. *sigh*
Urban Warfare Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Fuck prevent defense. Fuck it up it's stupid ass.
