LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 But there's no way you can come away from this game saying the Giants can't win on the road, because they can. First off, they did beat the Niners, whho ALMOST came back and beat the Seahaks last week. Irs not like the Giants got slaughtered. They arguably outplayed the Seahawks for most of the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude, it's obvious the Giants can hang with the best of the NFC at their home. They proved it today even though they lost. These other guys look at it as JUST a loss though. It's all black and white to them, no in between

Fökai 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 The critics wouldn't shut up even if they won - believe me, people would've found an excuse to hate on the Giants for today's game. "They should've put them away earlier". "I'm worried about them choking in the playoffs". "Eli looked bad in the first half". "The offensive line sucked dick". I can't wait for a rematch, if it happens this January.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 Lets do some math. New York had 490 total yards New York had 116 yards in penelties. 490-116=374 yards. Somewhere in that equation that New York could have had a closer chance at a Field Goal or a Touchdown, but they didn't. Also the three field goals: First one from 40 yards out, he sailed it left of the post, considering he was on the left side of the field, he didn't accuartly aim properly. Second one was from 54 yards out, and it was Feeley's longest attempt this year. I had a good feeling he wasn't going to make this one, and he left it up short. The third came 45 yards out, and Feeley was more concerned about where to put the ball, and completly mis-hit the thing. Besides, like everyone has stated before, there was tons of poor playcalling on the Giants behalf that they couldn't get done.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 Beating Seattle, who would then only be AMONG the top NFC teams, soundly on the road would silence any Giants critics. It'd be like the Bengals beating the Broncos.

NExt week is going to be the biggest game of the year for the Giants against Dallas for the division lead. If Dallas wins that game they would have a 2 game lead with 4 games left. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 The Seahawks are at "Bears 2001" level bullshit in terms of getting miracle luck to win these games. I can assure everyone they'll get the shit kicked out of them by SOMEONE come playoff time. By the way, how is it that Seattle gets nearly every solid team at home this year? Note the couple times they played anyone worth a shit on the road they lost. Redbaron, let's face it....you predicting Pittsburgh is just wishful thinking, since the Seahawks might stand a chance. If the Colts played Seattle on a neutral site that game is a 45-20 rout.
