That article was a pretty funny read, but really, Street Fighter was not that bad. It's so horrible its great. I also don't get the hate for Mario Bros. I mean it's beyond awful, but it too is so awful its great.

Even Dennis Hopper couldn't save SMB from being a complete and total suckfest. At least Raul Julia kept SF going. Even Van Damme gets some decent one-liners out.

Well, if you want my honest opinion, I don't think Super Mario Bros. would get trashed that much if the movie had not been based off the Mario games. The very fact its based on the Mario characters made everyone automatically hate it. Dennis Hopper also had one of the weirdest performances ever, as it seemed like he was phoning it in, but he was overacting at the same time.
