I know it may be a little early, but I just got finished discussing who would be inducted into the HOF next year, and I want to know your opinion. Who do you think will be inducted into the HOF next year?

In the convo between me and the guy that I was discussing this subject with the following names came up:

Bret Hart

Owen Hart

The British Bulldogs

Curt Hennig

Eddie Guerrero

Ted DiBiase

Dusty Rhodes

The Road Warriors (since they are from Chicago)

Discuss.

Thats a pretty good list. I definately would think they'd put Eddie in right away, because he really does deserve it. And hopefully since Bret is now on relatively good terms with the WWE, he'll agree to be inducted.

Actually, Bret has said he doesn't want in this year and is not sure if he'll ever want in. He agreed to work on the DVD so his career wouldn't be forgotten (Bret's out loud answer) and so WWE wouldn't release the burial DVD, Screwed (Bret's real reason to do the DVD).

They all deserve it, but that would be one depressing HOF to watch.

This is the way I look at it with Eddie.

If Eddie had decided to walk away in November of 2005 instead of what happened, would he have made the Hall of Fame? Don't even consider what happened to him.

The answer is yes. Period. He should get in for 2006.

I agree with everyone pretty much on your list even though I'm not sure about the tag teams getting in. I could see Davey Boy getting in on his own accord.

I'm assuming these people will be inducted:

• Road Warriors because of the Chicago connection

• Eddie Guerrero do to his passing

• Dusty Rhodes, Ted Dibiase and Ricky Steamboat thanks to them all being employees

• Ric Flair (the combo of him and Rhodes would propably be enough of a ratings draw)

My prediction of who will probably get in:

Ricky Steamboat

Ted Dibiase

Dusty Rhodes

Mr. Fuji

Bret Hart

Road Warriors

Jake Roberts

Who should but probably won't: Bob Backlund, Bruno Sammartino, Lord Alfred Hayes, Ken Patera.

I forgot about Steamboat. This could end up being more of  an NWA HOF induction than a WWE one.

Another good inductee, if he shows up sober that is, would be Jake Roberts.

Regardless of his sobriety at the time, I'm sure we will be talking about his speech for a long time.

If 2005's inducations had a 'Wrestlemania I' theme, I'd like 2006 to have a Wrestlemania II theme:

Bret Hart

Randy Savage

Jake Roberts

The British Bulldogs

King Kong Bundy

Dory Funk Jr & Terry Funk

Bruno Sammartino (he was in the battle royale, and it's about time he got in, anyway)

WON said Bret will be in Italy at WM time, no HOF

Bruno

Dusty

Flair

Eddie G.

Sting

Sammartino

Hart

Steamboat

that'd make a badass induction ceremony imo, and all are worthy if they'd accept which we already know a few won't.
