Cowboy Battlenuts 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 I think the problem with the lack of wrestling is, this is supposed to be a completely wrestling oriented company, an alternative to the WWE. People should be coming to TNA because they're turned off by the lack of wrestling on Raw and Smackdown, but if it's just as bad, where's the alternative? It's just a bush-league copy. They've kind of dug themselves a whole, the audience wants the awesome wrestling, but it's not gonna sell unless you have characters to push. I'm not a huge Dutt fan and it's not because I think the sprinkler bit he does is fucking retarded. A lot of his spots are very risky and by risky, I don't mean he is going to kill someone. A simple way to explain Abyss' fear of barbed wire is that he was disfigured as a kid trying to climb over a fence or something. Anyway, that Rhino piece was great, though if he could've not just read from a script it would've been better. Show was great angle wise. The wrestling that was there was good. I mean, I'm not one of those guys who thinks "oh no, he lost weight that must mean he's gonna die soon" because I think the weight loss is probably better for his health, but the voice.
