Just wondering, Who has cable based internet

I don't believe its anything new to people, but when you order cable internet, you get cable TV. I noticed Road Runner, now charges (at least in my area), $10 extra a month if you get internet w/o cable TV service.

Does anyone else have this setup? It’s not illegal or else, it wouldn't be offered. I have digital, which I pay for so I don't care, but a friend of mine, has had cable internet for several months now, but all of a sudden his cable TV has gone out, not sure if this is something new or now.

It's just an oversight if you have cable TV and are not paying for it.

 

Legally we can bill you for the time you were watching it and didn't notify us. Weeeeee~!

That's like when I used to be able to get HBO/Cinemax on TVs without a cable box. Then they fixed it so the channel is scrambled.

It never worked here. Cablevision is too much about the money for it to be an issue. So I have IO Gold with OptOnline.

 

BTW: If a person doesn't have cable, are ABC, CBS, FOX, UPN, and NBC the only channels to come through on a cable line?
