Downhome Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Ok, I was just joking when I said last week that they should have Taker show up in a mirror or something.
Guest whatitistoburn Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Ok, I was just joking when I said last week that they should have Taker show up in a mirror or something. You know, the sad thing is that really, what else is there to add that hasn't already been said?
Downhome Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Ok, in 2005, WWE has a wrestler who wrestles with fake glass glued to his head, wrestles with live worms hanging from his mouth, and after he wins: EDIT: As I was writing the above, I just saw the absolute stupidest thing I've ever seen on WWE TV, ever, no questions asked. Holy shit they have gone insane, more than usual... Anyway, yeah, and the wrestler then spits the worms up on the guy he beats...
haVoc Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Seriously, I'll take Katie Vick over this shit. I'm not kidding... For real... I swear.
Vyce Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 If this was the 80s, the Boogeyman's schtick would get him tremendous heat, and he'd probably be making tens of thousands of dollars feuding around the country with someone like Hogan or Ultimate Warrior.
Jebus Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Between Raw and Smackdown this week, it seems as if the WWE has abandoned realism on their shows...bloody Bob Orton? I shouldn't be able to see what Randy is!!!! Just like I shouldn't have seen Kane's flashback 2 years ago
Downhome Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Someone, please upload that short clip of the Ortons. Everyone who isn't watching this show, needs to see just how horrible that was.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 And from all that we go to a Booker/Benoit match.
Downhome Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Can we get a video of it to? I want to know which creative genius thought up this one.
claydude14 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I'm just using Media Center and taking screen shots, I'm not sure how to make a video clip. I imagine they might put it on wwe.com once Smackdown! is over.
Downhome Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Thanks a lot. I don't care what wins the Gooker award for 2005. Whatever it is, it flat out stole it from what we saw earlier.
Ed Wood Caulfield Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 So now Benoit is going to make a Boston Red Sox-like comeback to win the title.
JustJoe2k5 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I have figured out one thing from tonight's Smackdown, mid-90s Undertaker doesn't work in 2005. And Josh Matthews being possessed...yeah, this show sucks.
Downhome Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Ok. I spoke far too soon. THAT was the stupidest thing I've ever seen them do before right there...
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Possessed Matthews. That just made me laugh. Now the question...was that a dub over, or was Matthews doing a Taker impersonation?
Jebus Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 *reaction to possessed Josh* ...then I shook my head in disbelief and disappointment
JustJoe2k5 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Wonder if WWE ever thought about the fact that if all of this is happening in Randy Orton's mind, why are we seeing it as well?
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Let us all remember that is part of their brilliant plan to give Orton enough heat to be one of their top heels.
chaosrage Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Haha, I like it. It's like Eternal darkness.
JustJoe2k5 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Makes you wonder that if Undertaker has always had this kind of power over people, why did he wait until now to use it?
JustJoe2k5 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I have alot of respect for this crowd, they are still pumped up after all the shit they have had to sit through.
chaosrage Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 He didn't always have it. Randy Orton killing him gave him new powers.
MikeJordan23 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Plus more with Undertaker and Randy Orton right out of the Hogan-Warrior WCW feud. You know what is the funniest thing in the world. It's watching WWE copy WCW worst ideas, and then protest when you say they are turning into WCW. The reason they protest? They have no idea what dumb things WCW did, and by not seeing how stupid those ideas were, they come up with the same thing. Remember Jim Herd's idea about the Hunchback who couldn't be pinned? It never happened because everyone in WCW talked him out of it. Did you know that after that idea was a laughing stock, many years later, Vince McMahon came up with the same idea as a gimmick for John Tenta of all people, but had to be talked out of it--by Vince Russo. Yes, Russo as the voice of sanity when it came to not copying a bad idea. Meltz in his update
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Makes you wonder that if Undertaker has always had this kind of power over people, why did he wait until now to use it? No one's pissed him off as badly as Orton?
JustJoe2k5 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 He didn't always have it. Randy Orton killing him gave him new powers. Thanks for clearing that up, although if he gains new power after each death he should be invincible by now. He was killed by Yokozuna in '94, Kane in '98, Steve Austin in '99, and Randy Orton in '05. Thus far, the only gained power was the ability to drive a motorcycle after death number three.
Guest clockworkraven Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I thought he didn't have these powers, it was just Randy's head fucking with him. He had the random pyro power before being killed.
LaParkaYourCar Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Okay Jillian's sell of the 619 was hilarious.
Downhome Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 I really enjoyed the Benoit/Booker T match, as well as that main event. JBL is such a fantastic heel, I can't wait for him to get another, yes I'm going to say it, push.
Guest clockworkraven Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Well, the thread almost made it to another page.
