It's silly to disregard it just because Shelton is happening to lose every week -- he needs a rational basis for why he would turn heel and attack Shawn Michaels. This would be the reasoning. B) Because pandering to the crowd and playing by the rules hasn't been helping him, as we could see with the losing streak. He needs a catalyst to turn him heel. C) He thinks he really needs an attitude if he's going to succeed. Look at the big picture for once. Were there more ideal ways they could turn him heel? Absolutely.
