Hoff 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 No, no no no, stop with the chronological order bullshit. It goes... The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Prince Caspian Voyage of the Dawn Treader The Silver Chair The Horse and His Boy The Magician's Nephew The Last Battle This is the original release order, and apparently the order of the films. Anything else is heresy.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Report post Posted December 18, 2005 I'd hardly call it heresy since C.S. Lewis himself prefered the chronological order.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 Doesn't matter. In the correct order, you get the general feel for the series before the backstory. That's the way it ought to go: intro, prologue, conclusion. C.S. Lewis is a fuck-up if he thinks different, I don't care who wrote the books. I'll fight that prissy bitch. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 Someone should change this thread title to "the Chronic-WHAT-cles of Narnia".
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 Just remember who the first one to use that here was when it explodes. Also, anyone remember Cartman's book review of tLWatW? I'm going to see this on Monday. I've heard good things, and I JUST saw Harry Potter 4 and was slightly dissapointed that while it was really good, it wasn't as cool to me as 3. So I wanna go see another "magic" movie.
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 And this Tuesday, Narnia follows in the ambitious footsteps of Lord of the Rings as they re-release The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe in a four-disk extended edition. Or course, since I shilled out the extra money for the Collector's Edition when they released it the first time, this just pisses me off. I should have seen it comming, but I really didn't. Thankfully someone at work is getting this for christmas, and I just got a DVD burner:)
