This is the original release order, and apparently the order of the films. Anything else is heresy.

I'd hardly call it heresy since C.S. Lewis himself prefered the chronological order.

Doesn't matter. In the correct order, you get the general feel for the series before the backstory. That's the way it ought to go: intro, prologue, conclusion. C.S. Lewis is a fuck-up if he thinks different, I don't care who wrote the books. I'll fight that prissy bitch.

I'm going to see this on Monday. I've heard good things, and I JUST saw Harry Potter 4 and was slightly dissapointed that while it was really good, it wasn't as cool to me as 3. So I wanna go see another "magic" movie.

And this Tuesday, Narnia follows in the ambitious footsteps of Lord of the Rings as they re-release The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe in a four-disk extended edition. Or course, since I shilled out the extra money for the Collector's Edition when they released it the first time, this just pisses me off. I should have seen it comming, but I really didn't.

 

Thankfully someone at work is getting this for christmas, and I just got a DVD burner:)
