Jeff Hardy No-Shows Turning Point

Recommended Posts

Jeff Hardy never arrived to TNA's Turning Point 2005 pay-per-view. This is why the originally-planned 8-man tag team match on the pre-show was changed to a 6-man tag team match. Hardy previously no-showed TNA's Hard Justice 2005 pay-per-view in May, forcing TNA to scramble to get Sean Waltman to take Hardy's place against Raven in the Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match and was subsequently suspended for a few months. A lot of people were speculating that this is the last straw for Hardy and that his TNA run may be over. It's assumed that the only reason Hardy was brought back after his previous no-show was due to TNA being in the middle of negotiations with Matt Hardy while he was briefly gone from WWE. TNA elected to keep Jeff as to not tick off Matt, but Matt chose to return to WWE and the proposed Hardy Boys reunion never happened.

EDIT NOTE: I don't understand what the heck happened. My original post showed up as blank, so I refreshed and a new, correct thread popped up. Odd.

I wouldn't bet on it. The guy moves merchandise. Plenty of fat chicks out there to buy his t-shirts and dvds.

Because the Hardys were among the first wrestlers I liked when I got into wrestling, I will always have a soft spot for both of them, so I hope Jeff gets his head together and TNA keeps him

Jeff is worthless. He can't work, he can't talk, he can't draw. He hit his "holy shit" spot at the last PPV. He brings nothing else except for "Pat" fans in the front row. Seriously, is that fuck a boy or a girl?

I don't know what's worse. Jeff no showing or wearing that dumb ass paint when he does show.

I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, but...

Jeff Hardy calls himself the "Charismatic Enigma" because its a mystery why people like him.

Wasn't he in the crowd at a WWE show last week? Hmm.

I hope he does go back to WWE... That way I won't have to see him.

I'd like to see hyim back in WWE, but not if they put the Hardy Boyz back together full time and fuck up Matt's career.

As if it's not already? Matt's career was fucked when he went to RAW in November 2003. It was career suicide.

Jeff and Shannon Moore were hanging around outside with fans after the show, waiting to pick up Matt. Reports said he never went inside the arena.

Hardy Fans 2005 = Emo Kids and Goth Geese

I'm none of the above, just remember him from the glory days and see that he can still kina go. He's fine where he is in TNA as long as he stops no showing

I don't mind Jeff Hardy as much as some people, but yeah, it seems like his value to TNA is pretty much gone anyway. I really can't recall the last match I've seen of his that really seemed halfway decent. Frankly, it seems like he's been lost in the midcard lately anyway. I also don't know what TNA can do with him at this point...he's too unreliable to put into a long feud or book in the world title picture...he's also not really quick enough for the X Division anymore. Maybe they could stick him in a tag team with someone like Chris Sabin, if they decide to keep him. The only problem is that team would inevitably get compared to the Hardy Boyz, circa '99, something they couldn't possibly live up to.

Dude, he cannot go. Anywhere. All I've seen him do in TNA is come out to his own REALLY shitty entrance music, wrestle some going-through-the-motions matches, attempt to land some of the lamest punches and stomps I've EVER seen and manage to even make his once-cool-looking finisher look like a pile of shit.

The best, though, is seeing Jeff Hardy in one of those pull-apart brawls. He looks like he's more concerned with breaking a nail rather than making it look like he actually wants to beat the shit out of his opponent.

Laugh My Ass Fucking Ass Off?

Typo, or subtle admission of homosexuality?

Oh, right. This thread has a topic. Anyway, I can't help but think that keeping Jeff around is WAY more trouble than he's worth, considering his near-complete loss of any wrestling ability he may have had, his unreliability, and the cookie-cutter matches that somebody mentioned earlier. Dump him, I say, because the 'emo chick' demographic is not large enough to try appealing to.

Spoiler (kinda):

I didn't see any mentions of him in the TV taping reports, and since they're all the way through the new year they've probably told him to stay home.
