CBright7831 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 Shoulda came out in November. The tagline sucks when the movie comes out in March. It was. But thanks to the London bombings (I think) we get it in March now.

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 That guy in the preview looks like a cross between The Undertaker, Zorro, and The Crow (or Crow Sting depending on which you liked better).
AmericanDragon 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 That guy in the preview looks like a cross between The Undertaker, Zorro, and The Crow (or Crow Sting depending on which you liked better). He looks more like Guy Fawkes.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 I'm guessing after reading that article that the likeness was done on purpose.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 (edited) yes, the mask was indeed modeled after Guy Fawkes in the comic. Boy I wonder how much the right-wingers are gonna rip this movie apart? From what I see, it looks fairly faithful to Alan Moore's brilliant comic. I can see actual scenes and plot points straight from it. Natalie Portman looks like an inspired casting choice and Hugo Weaving is a great "V". Edited December 18, 2005 by metr0man
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 Why would they tear it apart? I haven't read the comic so you'll have to enlighten me.
