Guest DuDe Report post Posted December 20, 2005 A recent South African Indy tour saw Nash vs Disco Inferno, and the Steiner Bros vs Warlord and Barabrian Also saw Rikishi, Nathan Jones and Test in action (What a line up!) Guest JMA Report post Posted December 20, 2005 Damn, I never knew Taker was so insecure. Where have you been the last 5 years? I know he's protective of his spot, but that he's protective to this extent is crazy. Why should Matt even care anyway? It's not like brushing Taker off is going to cost him a big push. Mole 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 WWE has banned Beniot, Rey and company from working the Eddy Memorial show in Mexico. Now the show may be canceled. What the fuck. Seriously. ..... I really Vince now. You what. hate
Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 You know back in the day I would have loved to have seen a Steiner Bros vs Powers Of Pain match.Hell yeah! That feud would have been great about seventeen years ago...
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 Lets see, Vince is a dick and Lesnar is a broke bitch. I have no interest in seeing Hogan / Cena or Hogan / Angle so I think Hogan / Big Show would be the best way to go. After all, it wouldn't be a problem to rehash the Hogan / Andre feud. Edit: More on the Hardy / Undertaker fiasco Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter Matt Hardy apparently has a lot of heat on him in the locker room right now stemming from an incident at Survivor Series. In the final moments of the PPV, when Undertaker was supposed to destroy the locker room, the original plans called for Hardy to receive a Chokeslam from Taker. Hardy told the agent giving him the news that this would slow down the momentum he was starting to gain in WWE. Being the current locker room leader, this naturally got back to Undertaker. In Cincinnati, Undertaker saw a replay of the Raw versus SmackDown! match and after asking for a rewind, he found that when he came into the ring, Hardy quickly rolled out of the ring and Undertaker began to talk down to Matt Hardy, most notably calling him a mark for rolling out. Talks came up about making an angle out of this, but Undertaker said candidly that he wouldn't work with Hardy. He then told Hardy to see it from his point of view and asked Hardy what kind of message he was sending to the locker room. Taker finally asked Hardy, "Are you better than everybody else?" Apparently, Hardy had his head down the whole time and just took it. This may be the reason why Hardy was buried against Randy Orton a few weeks later as Orton never acknowledged the match in his promo before hand and the two also had eight minutes cut from the match. Seeing as how JBL is also somewhat of a locker room leader backstage (or so he sees himself as), the match at Armageddon could just be more punishment in store for Hardy. Many are actually surprised at this by Hardy considering Hardy has always been one of those guys to do what is asked of him as he respects the chain of command, something he went through in detail in his autobiography with Jeff Hardy. It should also be noted that Hardy has always thought highly of JBL and Taker in the past (again mentioned in his book) so this situation may just be worse on Matt Hardy. Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 (edited) Taker finally asked Hardy, "Are you better than everybody else?" Fuck off, Taker. Seriously, ask yourself the same question. What's it matter if he chokeslams all but 1 person? Big words from a guy who was handed everything when he 1st came into the WWF. Fucking diva. Guest JMA Report post Posted December 21, 2005 What would be the right thing for Matt to do in this situation? It seems like he'd be screwed other no matter what. How depressing.

Guest JMA Report post Posted December 21, 2005 You know, despite the fact that Undertaker would completely dominate Hardy and make him look even worse, a feud between the two of them might have been interesting. Not with all that lightning bullshit, but rather like the Pillman/Sullivan situation. Nah, they still would've fucked it up.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Report post Posted December 21, 2005 After another read, is there any news on what Rey was doing, aiming a cake at Chimmel in the first place? It was Rey's B-Day and someone brought him a cake and they were fooling around

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 Big fucking deal. I said this at NMB already, but anyone could have the "momentum" Hardy has if their girl cheated on them with another wrestler and it was turned into an angle.
Si82 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 How can Taker call anyone a "mark" when he comes out with shit like that I'll never know. As for this "respect the old guys" and "chain of command" bullshit, isn't this the same kind of thing they constantly blast WCW for having? You know the thing that killed the company? The question is, when are old farts like Taker going to actually step aside and make some new stars to take their places?
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 If anything, Matt made the rest of the roster look like idiots. Everyone else just stood there waiting for Taker to get in the ring, but Hardy exposed how stupid it was by simply rolling out of the ring.
Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 I think Hardy's an asshole. Take the fucking chokeslam. It's the fucking Undertaker - who hasn't he squashed? Taker is terrible these days, but Matt himself has done nothing but suck since returning. Just take the move.
jester 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 In the final moments of the PPV, when Undertaker was supposed to destroy the locker room, the original plans called for Hardy to receive a Chokeslam from Taker. Hardy told the agent giving him the news that this would slow down the momentum he was starting to gain in WWE. Being the current locker room leader, this naturally got back to Undertaker. Apparently, Hardy doesn't understand why he was brought back. His one purpose in the company now is to be the example of what happens when you piss Vince off. Coming soon: The Matt Hardy Story, a thrilling DVD which explains how Matt Hardy caused the destruction of WCW, ECW, and a 47% increase in ovarian cancer. And refusing the first job to Brock was what? Pot to kettle. Come in, kettle. You're black. Over. Talks came up about making an angle out of this, but Undertaker said candidly that he wouldn't work with Hardy. He then told Hardy to see it from his point of view and asked Hardy what kind of message he was sending to the locker room. The Undertaker is doing him a favor there. If Hardy expects to come out of this feud looking like anything other than a total bitch, he's as delusional as when he heaped all that praise on Lita. Taker finally asked Hardy, "Are you better than everybody else?" Apparently, Hardy had his head down the whole time and just took it. Thought that went through Hardy's head at that moment: "Fuck. The Internet smarks are right. Again." Seeing as how JBL is also somewhat of a locker room leader backstage (or so he sees himself as), the match at Armageddon could just be more punishment in store for Hardy. The minute JBL touches him, Matt should go down screaming and claim he has a massive injury and is going to sue WWE for every sent it's got. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 -- As reported, WWE's request for a temporary restraining order to block Brock Lesnar from working with New Japan during the legal battle was denied. The two parties will next head to court on 1/3/06, exactly one day before Lesnar's next event with New Japan Pro Wrestling. http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2005_/arti.../1135273362.php Someone please explain to me how Vince thinks a US court has jurisdiction over a Japanese wrestling company. Guest DuDe Report post Posted December 23, 2005 So, why can't they do both shows? Are only McMahon promoted memorial cards legit while others 'aren't on his level'? Dude, those guys are under contract with the WWE. It might not be the nicest thing of Vinnie Mac to do, but their contract clearly says that they can't wrestle for other promotinons.
