Comments that don't warrant a thread

I picked up the Phillies' 25th Anniversery dvd set yesterday. The set contains full broadcasts of the 1980 NLCS Game 5, and World Series Game Six. The World Series game saw an interview with George Brett's brother Ken, who suggested the best way to pitch to Brett was to throw your cleat instead of a baseball.

Has anyone ever watched one of those Bulls dynasty, Celtic dynasty or Laker dynasty DVD boxsets?

I bought the Bulls one for my dad for his birthday or father's day or something last year, and promptly stole it from him for the next four months. Quite good stuff.

Geez, how unfair is that? Unless I'm missing something here with the realignments or something.

Well they'd pick two and then for the AFC the two originally picked must have pulled out. I'm guessing Marino and Kosar were originally picked to the team and Elway and Kelly replaced them. I couldn't find a site that listed the original picked starters.

A few Suns players fall in the underrated category. Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Chambers and I'm sure that I'm forgetting more.

Don Majkowski, actually. THE MAJIK MAN~... whose season-ending injury in 1993 freaked everyone the fuck out in Titletown until this guy Brett Favre took over in the game and had a huge comeback win, hasn't given up the starting spot since.

Are you fucking kidding me? The Houston Texans and/or 49ers can beat USC. The talent level is nowhere even close between college and the pros.

The `85 Bears would leave SC's offense sick, bloodied, bruised, and battered.

I've actually been tired of ESPN matching USC with historic teams. First of all, shouldn't you wait and see if they can beat Texas before you start comparing them to the "greatest teams of all-time"? Also, why waste time imagining scenarios that will NEVER come to pass? I think maybe they've run out of things to talk about and have to fill airtime. You know what they need? More T.O.

What would the weather conditions be like for '85 Bears v. University of Ditka.

Like what if a hurricane rolled in......

How many Gold Gloves would Tommy Herr have won if he wasn't playing at the same time as Ryne Sandberg?

21. Philadelphia - Terry Catledge, South Alabama

Who the hell is Terry Catledge? Terry Catledge doesn't even know who Terry Catledge is.

His momma knows who he is. Actually I saw Terry Catledge score 49 points against the Warriors back in 1990, live in person. Oh yes I saw history. Well okay I had to research to jog my memory as I just remember going to see the Warriors play the Magic in their inagrual season and someone for Orlando just going off and it turned out it was Catledge.

Man that's bizarre. The most bizarre thing I've seen at a sporting event I've been to was David Ortiz hitting two triples.
