Anakin Flair Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 Well, this past week one of my old favorites made its debut on DVD- Seaquest DSV. MY friend got it, and I borrowed it and, in watching it, I was amazed how well this show has held up since it's debut. So, any fans of the series here, and anybody else pick this up?
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 My wife is a huge fan of this show, so yeah someday the DVD set will find its way into our home.
Darthtiki Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 I'll probably stick with the 1st season after that it was downhill
Kaertos Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 I didn't, and probably won't get it, but at Best Buy last night they was a big empty space on the shelf.
Anorak Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 Reminds me of a letter in SFX magazine a few months back.... Q: Are there any plans to release Seaquest DSV on DVD? A: God, let's hope not. Never saw the show myself but that reply still made me laugh. Obviously more fondly remembered by some people than others.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 That guy who killed himself was awesome in that Chuck Norris movie.
Corey_Lazarus Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 That was a good show. Season 2 wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be, but Season 3...damn that was awful. Only one or two people from the original cast returned (I think just Roy Scheider and Ted Raimi, actually).
MrRant Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Yes. It was quite the different show when it became SeaQuest 2032 and was all warlike.
