He shows signs of being able to start and "manage" or maybe even "carry" the team(very brief signs) then other times he is absolutley terrible(for instance, all the times where he'll just fumble the ball without getting hit, those are never good, at all). Apparently the Jets are indeed trying to renegotiate their contract with Pennington, and that's the best thing they could do... however, word is that Drew Brees is also scheduled to become a free agent unless San Diego can put together an 11th hour contract extension by next Thursday for Brees... in which case, the Chargers would probably be fucked unless Philip Rivers proves to be a stud. Interesting question as to where the fuck Brees would go though, and that would be interesting if he ended up with the Jets as THEIR "insurance policy"... And I personally don't think Jay Cutler is worth anything more than a 2nd round pick at MOST. Anyone who takes him in the first round and expects him to start or play anytime soon is going to be extremely disappointed. Not to take anything away from his ability, because I definitely think he has potential, but he needs time to develop. Mainly because the OL was plagued with injuries, and had total scrubs at guard and RT, all year. Plus, I don't think it's wise to give up on Arrington yet. If they could get LenDale White... he'd be a good compliment to him. But, that's probably not happening. The Cards are supposedly looking at DL. They really do need some run stoppers. Which makes more sense in them drafting a Offense Lineman(Winston Justice) genius, and getting a vetern runningback. And I may not watch alot of Arizona games(I watch them when the Eagles don't play the same time as them), but I've watched Dennis Green for many years. And he will work on the offense much more then he will on defense. They already have a solid D, what they need to is to get a rushing attack to keep alot of pressure of Kurt Warner. I watched their games on TV and other then Shaun Alexander going nuts, the defense played pretty good. Give Kurt a running game and the Cards would be dangerous. And I rate him as the only top 10 HB on the board. Their D-Line is solid(they were ranked 12th in passing offense) and is not the postion they need the most improvement on. Part of the reason why they failed on the rushing attack and lost most of their games was because their o-line collasped and forced alot of pressure on McNown and Warner and they rushing attack as a whole. Dennis Green may have drafted and defensive player last year(Because the secondary needed the most help last year) but this year he will go with either a RB or OL, but he should go with a OL.
