He has 2 daughters---Indiana, and Mattigan.

I cannot imagine growing up with him as my dad. It was weird seeing Hogan's kids, but I can't see Warrior's.

I'm waiting for the 30,000 word manifesto that he will surely post within the week or so about the lawsuit "defending the legend of the WOAH-YA!! **SNORT**"

I wonder if "Hoak HO-GON!!" will be called to testify.

Warrior Warrior, Ultimate Warrior, Jim Helwig or whatever other fucking name the guy may have has a good reason to be pissed. Its just to bad for him that he should in no way win this lawsuit.

I strongly encourage anyone to at least watch the Warrior DVD if they can because some of the lines on it are truly amazing and very funny!

Well...since everyone got the warrior bashing out of the way. Good for him, I hope he beats WWE again in court. Then he can laugh his way to the bank and sign his stupid little name ;)

WWF and WCW were still sueing each other over Hall and nash's gimmicks when WCW folded IIRC

I though his first name was Ultimate.

Now that would just be ridiculous.

Sig.

He needs to change his name to "the ultimate plaintiff", just so we can see him do a mad dash into the courtroom.

If they called him a calm and rational human being, that would be a lie he could sue over.

HTQ, if you could be so kind, do you think some time you could type up, or at least summarize, Meltzer's article about the Warrior DVD? I know you hate 95 percent of the posters in this forum, but come on, do it for the good people.

Well it's not like we didn't see this coming a long time ago. Part of me hopes Warrior wins just to show the WWE that they can't just trash wrestlers careers who refuse to be part of their Hall of Fame or other promotional activities. Then again, if the WWE gets beaten in court I'm sure they'll create a gimmick out of it for Vince's own enjoyment.

I guess Vince can have someone new play the part of the Renegade.

Nope, that lawsuit was settled in 1999 or 2000 and it helped Vince buy WCW. One of the provisions of the settlement were if WCW were to ever go up for sale (which it did in fall 2000), Vince would be given the chance to match any offer put up for it.

I though that was debunked. Besides, wasn't the settlement sealed?

From PWInsider:

The Ultimate Warrior’s lawsuit filed against World Wrestling Entertainment on 1/9 in the Superior Court of Arizona that WWE’s “Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior” DVD has caused the former WWF champion “mental duress”, claiming the DVD contains “major misrepresentations of Warrior’s character, history, activities, or beliefs.”

Warrior claims that the release of the DVD breaches a March 2000 Settlement Agreement between the then-WWFE and Ultimate Creations Inc, Warrior’s Arizona corporation. That agreement granted WWFE owned the rights to use any existing footage from the Warrior’s WWF runs and could “exploit” them, but decreed that Warrior owned the rights and trademarks to the Ultimate Warrior character and could use them in any future venue as he decreed. The Agreement also noted that both parties agreed not to disparage each other in the media. WWE also agreed to pay $890,000 to Warrior’s Ultimate Creations as part of the settlement agreement. A transcript of the settlement proceedings, which had previously been sealed and was confidential, was attached to the 23-page complaint. That agreement also agreed that any future legal proceedings between the two sides would be heard in Arizona (where Warrior resides), which is why the latest lawsuit is filed there.

With the release of their “Self-Destruction” DVD, Warrior claims that WWE violated the previous Settlement Agreement, noting, “Upon review of the footage on the DVD, it is clear that the negative footage was intended to harm the reputation of Warrior and to devalue and injure the value of the intellectual property owned by Ultimate Creations and Warrior and has caused such injury.”

Warrior claims that WWE released the DVD, “intending to bring Warrior into disrepute, contempt or ridicule, or intending to impeach Warrior’s honesty, integrity, virtue, or reputation.” The complaint also notes that WWE published the DVD “with knowledge of the falsity or disregard for the truth” which portrayed Warrior in a negative light.

The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD featured comments by Vince McMahon, Edge, Christian, Bobby Heenan, Triple H, Steve Lombardi, Eric Bischoff, Gene Okerlund, and Hulk Hogan, among others discussing Warrior’s WWF and WCW runs and legacy. HHH noted that Warrior was among the “least professional” wrestlers he had ever had to deal with, while Heenan stated that Warrior was dangerous and “Nobody wanted to be around the guy.” McMahon noted that at one point, he couldn’t “wait to fire” Warrior. Warrior responded savagely to the release of the DVD in an online statement on his official website, which you can check out details of by clicking here.

Warrior is asking for damages to be determined by the court via trial as well as all legal and court fees.

I don't think Warrior's past website ramblings will do him any good here.

The only thing from the DVD that Da Meltz took real issue with was Bruce Pritchard attributing Warrior's lack of mass when he returned in 1992 as being down to Warrior not working out as hard as he could, inferring that Warrior was lazy when it came to looking his best. Apart from that, Da Meltz had no major problems with the DVD, and thought it was pretty fair and accurate. He also said that some people didn't want to take part because they didn't want to make Warrior look bad, and they knew they would if they talked about what Warrior was like.

Warrior, while he might get something out of this, has no case. He really was as big of a jerk as people said. When Ted DiBiase did a shoot interview a few years ago, he talked about seeing Warrior tell kids to fuck off when they wanted his autograph. DiBiase also said how he was so concerned about Warrior getting the belt that he went to Vince over it and warned him he was creating a monster.

The DVD actually looks like people are hating on Warrior more than anything else. Seriously, a newer fan watches it and just says if he was so bad why did he get so big in the game. He was more over than all of the roster today. It seems Hogan kind of sympathized with Warrior somewhat due to him being similar in terms of contracts disputes and having a huge following.

Perspnally. I want to see a SAVAGE DVD PROMPTO! Warrior made no sense when he did promos, but damn if he didn't get you pumped to want to see the match.

Because as bad of a person as he was, and he was that bad, he drew. It didn't last long, but he drew. And that's what mattered.

Not happening. WWE think Savage is even nuttier than Warrior.

Well, I guess Dave was exaggerating with all his "if you saw the DVD, you NEED to read my article on it!" stuff.

But what was the deal with his singlet in '92? I mean, I guess I can understand the reasons for it, but look at him:

He's fucking huge. Did Vince think THAT wasn't big enough?
