Slayer Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 For that though I'd need an actual degree in accountancy Unless you meant what you want to do
Guest Princess Leena Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 Yes, you can't get a job in accounting without an accounting degree. Since tons of people have them. I tried to get in there, since I'm good at math... and my degree involves the type of work that accounting places do. But, no.
Nighthawk Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 However, I'm sure that your math degree would assist in an accounting degree.
Sideburnious Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 I was wondering what one can do with a math degree. I'm not going to break out one of those generalized lists your career counselor would give you, but I personally am looking into being an actuary... I'm taking the first exam next month. If that doesn't work out... something in banking, business or maybe gubment. Grinding numbers is going to lead to the crushing of slayers soul. Just wait until the Beavis avatar is replaced with bill gates...or some sort of banker. whichever makes more sense.
Slayer Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 However, I'm sure that your math degree would assist in an accounting degree. That would take another 2-3 years that I don't want to spend, costing money I don't have and don't wish to borrow. Grinding numbers is going to lead to the crushing of slayers soul. Just wait until the Beavis avatar is replaced with bill gates...or some sort of banker. whichever makes more sense. Oh shit, I'll turn into Stephen Popick
Ted the Poster Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 You'll teach the elderly to slam-dance?
Black Lushus Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 heh, I'm not the only one that thought that Popick revelation was outta left field...
