Yes, you can't get a job in accounting without an accounting degree. Since tons of people have them. I tried to get in there, since I'm good at math... and my degree involves the type of work that accounting places do. But, no.

I was wondering what one can do with a math degree.

I'm not going to break out one of those generalized lists your career counselor would give you, but I personally am looking into being an actuary... I'm taking the first exam next month.

 

If that doesn't work out... something in banking, business or maybe gubment.

That would take another 2-3 years that I don't want to spend, costing money I don't have and don't wish to borrow.
