claydude14 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Comments which don't warrant a thread/cheap plug thread. Why didn't you just post the text? The following matches are confirmed to set for WWE’s Royal Rumble that will take place on Sunday, January 29, 2006: 2006 Royal Rumble: 30 Man Over The Top Battle Royal (The winner gets a world title shot) 15 RAW Superstars and 15 SmackDown! Superstars WWE Championship Match Edge © vs. John Cena World Heavyweight Championship Kurt Angle © vs. Mark Henry JBL vs. The Boogeyman
Wrestlefreak Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 The Royal Rumble promo is pretty good. I liked the part where Shane stabs Vince and then does that stupid dance. Shane cracks me up!!!!
Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 What a lackluster card
Caliban Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Wow, I wouldn't have had a CLUE what the Rumble card was if you hadn't posted this. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!111 Now fuck off.

Hawk 34 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Anyways, sticking to the purpose of the thread it's safe to assume they will likely add in two more matches to the show and I'll say it's a woman's title match and perhaps either a CW title match or a WWE Tag Title match.

Wow, you're a dick, eh? Considering there's already a thread about this and the guy is just plugging some BS, he's in the right
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 I remember a couple of years ago they had this seemingly psychotic desire to push Bob Holly and stuck him on the Rumble because "People will Buy the Rumble Anyway!" And in the end the feud did far more bad than good. The point is, this may be the final card. At least Henry is better than Holly.
JN News Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 What a lackluster card I'm pretty sure that this PPV will be right up there with Wrestlemania 9.
Guest Nathan Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 If Booker's healed up by then, they'll probably add a US title match.
spman Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Let's see, off the top of my head for the Rumble RAW: Carlito, Viscera, RVD, Chavo, Kane, Shelton, Triple H, Mudoch, Masters, Big Show, Michaels, Flair, Snitsky, Conway, Helms Smackdown: Lashly, Sylvain, Orton, Mercury, Nitro, Simon Dean, Daivari, Boogeyman, JBL, Benoit, Hardy, Orlando Jordan, Psichosis, Super Crazy and then Mark Henry beats up Paul London or Kendrick or someone and takes their spot.

The Amazing Rando Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Let's see, off the top of my head for the Rumble RAW: Carlito, Viscera, RVD, Chavo, Kane, Shelton, Triple H, Mudoch, Masters, Big Show, Michaels, Flair, Snitsky, Conway, Helms Smackdown: Lashly, Sylvain, Orton, Mercury, Nitro, Simon Dean, Daivari, Boogeyman, JBL, Benoit, Hardy, Orlando Jordan, Psichosis, Super Crazy and then Mark Henry beats up Paul London or Kendrick or someone and takes their spot. Boogeyman would make for a good 12 or 13 entry... usually the 7th or so guy in does a good chunk of eliminating, especially if nobody in the first few has any chance of going to the end. usually the 12-16 range features some sort of comedy spot, or it comes right after 7 so that the comedy can be dumped right away.
2GOLD Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Didn't Conway lose the Royal Rumble qualifier match? So what? That was basically just something to stick us with a really bad match on RAW?
spman Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Didn't Conway lose the Royal Rumble qualifier match? So what? That was basically just something to stick us with a really bad match on RAW? They did the same thing last year. A bunch of guys who lost qualifier matches were still in the Rumble. Both rosters are so thin now that just about everyone on both sides will be in the match.
Vampiro69 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Are there going to be any surprise participants this year in the Rumble like Mr. Perfect was a few years back? Man I marked out huge for the music and the swatting of the gum while he was tied up in the ropes.

Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 OAO Royal Rumble thread.
Guest Coffey Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 Holly has a good dropkick. Henry has a good THUMP slam. Neither one are anything above bland. Henry is a "big guy" and Holly is a "tough guy." I'd say blame WWE, not the workers. I liked Holly when he was using the Gas Mask on Velocity.
