The Man in Blak Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 It's a pseudo-documentary that furthers virtually every possible negative stereotype of pen-and-paper RPG gamers. It's also quite possibly the funniest damn thing I've ever seen on the internet. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=75...q=fear+of+girls
razazteca Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Better than the Reno 411 episode with Patton Oswald?
The Man in Blak Posted January 30, 2006 Author Report Posted January 30, 2006 Yeah, probably. Especially since Reno 911 is a television show. And Ozwald was funnier as the Kenny Rogers Assassin.
Scroby Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 I used to have that bug guy action figure raymond was holding.
Guest wildpegasus Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 All my life and I still have never played a dungeons and dragons game. Good video for the most part.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Doug Doug's a fraud. Magic Missile? If he was a wizard or dual/multi-classed character of any real power, he would have been able to launch multiple shots. A druid? Doug Doug's not going to hell -- he's going to the tree in the backyard.
Dobbs 3K Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Man, I used to play D&D my freshman year in high school, and thankfully none of us were _that_ messed up. The lack of any girlfriends was pretty accurate, though Pretty hillarious video overall.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 The few times I played we lost patience, which is a good sign I guess.
2GOLD Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Fuck that, the truly awesome work of a young Tom Hanks in "MAZES AND MONSTERS" will be my D & D documentary til the end of time. THE END OF TIME! "I can't! I don't have enough points to raise the dead"
Black Lushus Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Fuck that, the truly awesome work of a young Tom Hanks in "MAZES AND MONSTERS" will be my D & D documentary til the end of time. THE END OF TIME! "I can't! I don't have enough points to raise the dead" ?
2GOLD Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Fuck that, the truly awesome work of a young Tom Hanks in "MAZES AND MONSTERS" will be my D & D documentary til the end of time. THE END OF TIME! "I can't! I don't have enough points to raise the dead" ? Really silly and stupid made for tv movie with a young Tom Hanks. He has some of the most hilariously bad lines in movie history. MAZES AND MONSTERS!!!
Slayer Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 I remember that. It was an attempt to capitalize on the fear from the early 80's of DnD turning kids to the occult/Satanism/etc.
