Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 GOOD - Danielle. Every single inch of her. Playboy is waiting for her elimination with baited breath. - The NASA and Air Force guys bonding. I laughed my ass off at the "I will never lie to you" moment. - Samurai Chop! - The "Exile Island" concept is cool and I'm waiting to see who'll find the immunity idol and what they'll do once they find it. - The 4 tribes thing is different but damn did it ever expose the young guys as a bunch of fuck-ups. BAD - Tina's sob story. Was she looking for a fucking medal? - Who the fuck draws a heart around a dead turtle? Courtney is the first to go from the young women tribe. - Older women making quite possibly the dumbest vote-out in the history of the show.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 - Older women making quite possibly the dumbest vote-out in the history of the show. Word. Three city bitches that have no clue how to survive in the wilderness decide to vote out a lumberjill. Fucking retards. The black chick completely killed that team by reacting to a threat especially since she is physically weak on top of being wilderness inept. The remaining older women better hope that the Survivor staff merge the tribes by the end of next week because they will be eliminating someone then as well if they don't. Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 Considering in the preview we heard one of the women saying "Shane wants to quit" I'd imagine they do something in the vein of switching up the tribes next week.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 GOOD - Danielle. Every single inch of her. Playboy is waiting for her elimination with baited breath. That has to be the most impractical bikini I've ever seen on this show. But for cleavage-baring purposes - yowza! As for the other young chicks: Misty - best looking geek on this show, ever. Courtney - she's a bit off Sally - haven't formed an opinion yet. - Tina's sob story. Was she looking for a fucking medal? Of course not. She's a lumberjill and she's okay. - Older women making quite possibly the dumbest vote-out in the history of the show. Well, not dumb for Cirie, seeing as it was her neck on the line. Considering in the preview we heard one of the women saying "Shane wants to quit" I'd imagine they do something in the vein of switching up the tribes next week. Considering that the previews take things out of context, I bet that's in reference to his smoking.

foleyfanforever88 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 I hated that the older women voted out Tina. It was incredibly stupid on their part. Cirie should have gone home. I like the Exile Island idea and the fact that the idol doesnt have to be revealed until after the vote is tallied. I just hope they dont spoil it for us and that we can be truly shocked when someone finally shows that they have it. I don't like Shane, I do like Danielle. naiwf 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 Cirie eliminated 4 players with that one vote because her team is going to be looked at as morons as soon as they show up without their one decent player to the next challenge. I never understand when people start playing final four tactics during the first couple of eliminations. None of those chicks will even make it to the merge now, but they were all worried about who was a threat instead of surviving until the threats would be eliminated by the collective group of weak players that make it to the merge. The Electrifyer 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 The concept of the four tribes intrigues me and made me watch this episode. The main reason why I liked All-Stars was because of it being 3 tribes competing against each other. I hope they don't merge these four tribes until at least 4 four weeks in. Also, Sally and Danielle are hot. I wish I were on that tribe.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 I knew that would happen. I'm guessing Melinda wishes she could have gone back in time and voted Cirie off instead. She got exactly what deserved in the end though for being stupid. You don't play for the final 4 when there are 15 people left at the end of the day.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 Right now, the only reason to watch is the fucking hot chicks and PSYCHO SHANE!!!!!! Other than that, blah so far. Exile Island is a good concept so far though...
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 I enjoy the suplex they show in the preview for next week when "things get rough" at a challenge. [Gertner] CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATFIGHT! [/Gertner]

nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 Two episodes, two horrible voting decisions. The old women voting off the lumberjill instead of the woman that was afraid to touch leaves? Insane. The entire tribe voting off the loud-mouth, annoying, cancerous team-mate that might flip out and quit at anytime, over someone that WANTS to be there? Insane. It's not like the guy's Bo Jackson in terms of athleticism; he's yet to do much to prove that he's more valuable than Melinda or Cerie. Courtney - she's a bit off Understatement of the year. And how does she qualify as "young" when she's already 31? Melinda was only 32, and Cerie was only 35. Evidently someone jumps from "young" to "old" at their 32nd b-day. Good to know. Lastly ... I'm incredibly pleased that Shane's kid is named 'Boston', rather than he has any affiliation with my hometown. There's been too many Masshole losers on reality TV already, having such a spastic asshole be from my beloved state might be too much to bear.

This ALWAYS happens though. Whomever takes on the boss/leadership/hard worker role early on is always one of the first couple of people voted out. That and being the "Mother" of the tribe is an early death sentence. The reason the older women's vote was so bad was that they were a tribe of 4 at the time, not 7 or 8. You can get away with voting off one strong player if you've still got 6 or 7 able bodies left. They had no way of knowing that the 4 tribe dynamic would end 5 minutes into the next episode, and if they had still competed in the 4 tribe structure they surely wouldn't have won immunity. As it turned out, they ended up losing their second tribe member anyway, but Cerie & Ruth Marie lucked out in that they now have a chance to be floaters. Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2006 This past vote was worse. You simply cannot ally with someone like Shane or that other guy, because they have proven that they can't keep their mouths shut. Sooner or later they will expose a plan when the other guys still have enough strength to fight back. The exact same thing happened with Jamie last year. And who won? A member of the minority tribe. Scheming is a vital part of the game, and if you can't keep it secret, you've lost. We saw it in Marquesas, we saw it in Amazon, we saw it in Vanuatu, and we saw it in Palau. starvenger 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 Voted off. People are already seeing through his charade. It's not really a charade. He's just dumb, or nuts. Or maybe both. I figure he's smart enough to throw Aras to the wolves first though.

starvenger 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2006 Last pics for now - hot girl on girl action. Well, the hottest the FCC will allow on network television, anyway: Sadly, no pics of Bobby dragging Ruth Marie to the Casaya mat, or Bruce pulling guard on Terry. Not that you guys want to see that, anyways...
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2006 I officially 'fell' for Sally last night. Each season there's one female that I root for, entirely for chauvinistic, pig-headed reasons. Sally's my girl. And why would Ruth Marie make us uncomfortable? She does more for me than Courtney does. And, to get off the sexist tangent: if I was on Shane's tribe, I swear to Jebus I'd throw the next immunity challenge and send him the fuck home. He's amazingly annoying. Laughably annoying. Painfully annoying. I would break my alliance so fucking fast and send him home, just for my own sanity.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2006 That move by Bruce was hilarious. It looks like they finally made a smart elimination yesterday, and I'm wondering if we might not see a run of men get eliminated now that the first 3 booted have all been females. I don't really care who goes as long as Danielle stays for a while longer and continues to fall out of her bikini top. Any hot chick who tries to powerbomb/chokeslam another woman (Ruth Marie) is my fave for the remainder of the show.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2006 The powerbomb was sweet. There were a few 'moves' that made me think that someone was going to get hurt BAD during that challenge. And while I admit that I'm not a huge outdoorsy kind of guy: does anyone really believe that you can filter out bacteria by pouring water through three t-shirts, and double-layering them? It seemed kind of sketchy to me.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2006 And why would Ruth Marie make us uncomfortable? She does more for me than Courtney does. Poor choice of words on my part. Probably should've stuck with MILF like I had before I changed it. And I echo your sentiment re: Ruth Marie vs Courtney.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2006 And while I admit that I'm not a huge outdoorsy kind of guy: does anyone really believe that you can filter out bacteria by pouring water through three t-shirts, and double-layering them? It seemed kind of sketchy to me. You can't. Filtering through t-shirts will get rid of larger particulate matter, but not bacteria. You need much finer micropores than anything you can get from cotton stitching. Did they seriously try to claim that on the show? Here's a true story from one of my outdoors buddies (I wasn't on this trip though): after losing their way, he and a friend spent most of the day wandering around with no water. Late in the day they finally found a source of "water"; an evaporated pond bed that was basically some sloppy soft mud. They filtered it through a t-shirt into a bottle to get the larger chunks of mud out, then treated it with iodine, then boiled it, and then poured in a huge amount of orange drink crystals. It made them feel better since they were getting dehydrated, but suffice to say it wasn't the cleanest water they've ever had. The only practical ways to treat water are to boil it, treat it with iodine, or filter it using a filter like the ones made by MSR and Katadyn.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 I've bitched about it on other boards, but haven't mentioned it here ... why do people feel the need to IMMEDIATELY form a huge ass alliance, before even finding out who's worth alligning with? The Shane-created alliance is already at each other's throats, and they're not even two weeks into the game. They really would have been smarter to wait a few days and see who's a worthy person to call an ally. They're going to lose because of a rash decision (mark my words: Cirie is going to the jury. I don't know why, but she'll manage to make it FAR in this game.) And the other tribe, same thing: why'd the astronaut feel the need to increase their good alliance of 4 to one of 5 by adding in Ruth Marie? I recognize his fear of alligning with a young girl (thinking she'd flip on his old ass ASAP) but why even bother adding ANYONE to their group of 4? And while we're talking, why would Terry still want to be an ally with the astronaut? It'd make more sense to go with the two young guys and the young girl instead. Did they seriously try to claim that on the show? Amazingly, yes, the outdoors 'expert' said that it'd work.
