im back, anyhow sucks i havent been here for awhile as I have been correctly predicteing idol castoffs for weeks now (my family was amazed at least)

 

I have thought for awhile kat would make it here, a bit surprised to see taylor here. but those two did bettre than Elliot last week so they deserve it I suppose (though it was pretty sad that Kat only got a gym full of people at a high school when she went home )

 

 

not sure, I guess taylor is the safe choice , but Ill wait to see what happens on tuesday

Im back (damn I shouldt have been gone for so long considering I started this thread) anyhow sad to hav ebeen gone as I have been correctly picking the castoffs every week for 2 months lol

 

I had afeeling kat would make it way back in march. also thought elliot would be in finale but taylor still got the votes. but that was the right results considering last weeks performances.

 

 

I dont see taylor as an idol winner but I think he may be the safe choice, he has made it mostly on his charisma alone (though he is a damn good singer to boot)

It's safe. They don't want the finalists up there sucking because that hurts the credibility of the finale, so they get material they've already been successful with.

The worst part about it all is that Taylor and Kat neither one really deserve to win this thing. Taylor is a great show act but how good would he move CD's when there's no show? Kat doesn't really have the vocals...but she'd make good MTV type shit.

Why is it that when I say that weeks ago, it goes un-noticed but now everyone else is following it.

 

Coffey apparently doesn't keep in touch with modern pop culture. Katharine wouldn't be on MTV.

 

Chris losing was the BEST thing to happen for both, AI and Chris. If Chris won, he would be stuck in Bo Bice's shoes of doing poppy shit like "Tell me It's real". Now he can do the radio rock stuff with AlterCreed/Fuel and have legit success. AI gets the credit for getting Chris out there and another performer who sells a couple million albums because it's a sure niche market to steal. They just have to try again in getting another gem like Kelly.
