jwpeer Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Tennessee got a 2 seed?!?!?!? WTF Pitt is like 100 times better than Tennessee Holy crap
therealworldschampion Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Seton Hall gets in as does Air Force. UNC is a 3 seed, they could get to the Elite Eight.
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Tennessee as a #2... committee does highly use the RPI...
naiwf Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 UConn/Kentucky or UAB could be a good 2nd round match. Washington a 5 seed? I haven't agreed with any of the 5's yet. Illinois over UConn would make me happy. Tennessee a 2? WTF? Winthrop = best reaction winner right now 6 for the Big East already. The fact that at least UNC or UConn must die in DC = Lots of small schools made it in that region
Bored Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Utah State and Air Force gets at large bids, that's a surprise. George Mason in. No Hofstra or Missouri State yet.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Wow, yeah. UNC has got a smooth path to the eight. And Phoenix, looks kinda sad for Hofstra, with Utah State and Air Force getting in...
therealworldschampion Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Looks like Nova will have Ohio State, BC, Florida, and Georgetown in their bracket.
2GOLD Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 UAB AS A 9?!?!?! And where the hell did AIR FORCE come from? Florida State can call it a day, they are history. No shock though but it's confusing as to what the selection committee was looking at. Bama gets in with a 17-12 record, Air Force gets in, UAB who was hovering on death is now a 9.
jwpeer Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Looks like Nova will have Ohio State, Florida, and Georgetown in their bracket. And maybe Cincinatti who can play them tough.... Missouri state guys look REALLY f'in nervous
naiwf Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Cincy isn't in yet right? So it looks like the Big East will "only" get 8.
Bored Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Hey guys they are giving out free VIP passes on NCAAsports.com for on demand access to all games in the tournament online but they are limited (supposedly). I've signed up so I don't have to watch Cal's game on Friday.
jwpeer Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Cincy isn't in yet right? So it looks like the Big East will "only" get 8. Still one more bracket...
therealworldschampion Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Oklahoma hasn't been announced yet either right? I guess they're in Nova's bracket as well.
SilverPhoenix Posted March 12, 2006 Author Report Posted March 12, 2006 Tenn a 2?!?!?! What the fuck were they smoking....and they got the 15th Seed NO ONE Wanted....Winthrop. Be very wary...Be very wary. And oh...it doesn't look good for Hofstra.

therealworldschampion Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Nova gets the play-in game winner, gets Arizona/Wisconsin winner.
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Arizona/Wisconsin 8-9 game... this bracket is going to be evil. Nevada a 5... well deserved, but I never thought they'd be that high.

jwpeer Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Pacific is gonna give BC trouble If BC gets out of that game, I REALLY like BC vs. Nevada, gonna be an awesome game. Fazekas vs. Smith
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Georgetown a 7. Syracuse a 5. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Thanks Bored. I'll be making vast use of that. Oh shit, G'Town/Northern Iowa. This bracket is rough.
therealworldschampion Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 OU got UW-Milwaukee in round one.
naiwf Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Nova looks good assuming Ray is OK. BC could easily bump them out though especially with how physical they are. OSU/G'town would be a game I'd like to watch even though it won't likely be exciting. That bracket didn't do anything for me, and some of the teams that got bumped out are shocking.
Bored Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Missouri State, #21 in the RPI doesn't get in. Holy shit. This is the committee officially saying the RPI is now meaningless.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Bubble teams that miss: Cincy, FSU, Michigan, Hofstra, Missouri State, Creighton. Ouch. I can't believe Seton Hall got in over Cincy.
Hawk 34 Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 'Nati and Hofstra will be the big "THEY GOT SCREWED" teams for the next three days.
