I don't get all the hoopla over this commercial. The one a few years ago of current Jordan playing against the old Chicago and UNC versions of Jordan was much better.

I still dig the Gatorade commercial that has him blowing the big clutch shot against the Cavs.

I don't care for that ad, but holy fuck does it make a lot more sense when you see the whole thing. ESPN tends to play just the part of the guy in green dunking and it makes no sense when you just see that, hear the lame ass music, and it says NIKE or whatever on the screen.

Fully agree about seeing the whole ad. Makes much more sense, and much better. In the short ones, especially the one with the kid sticking his tongue out before doing the layup, and the cheesy music playing... it just screams lame parody commercial #5000. Even if you've seen it before.

 

Nothing beats the opposites of The Catch and Jordan's Ehlo shot, though.

Being a Clevelander, I did a legit double take when I saw The Shot clank off the rim. It feels like I've seen that play 1,000 times over the years . . . I mean geez, it was just the 1st Round of the playoffs.

I love the commercial because it has so many iconic moments in it and you can remember all of them even with other people re-enacting them. I really, really like this commercial alot.
