Carnival 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 did styles hit joe with the chair to stop him from getting to daniels?
Garth 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Joe's pissed. It felt like that match was really just getting going when it finished. Here's to Joe heading towards the NWA Title now.
Astro101 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 I guess the blowoff is really at Lockdown, but with the belt coming off Joe, it wouldn't feel like a true blowoff, though.
RedJed 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 This ppv has given a strong feeling of a "filler" ppv when it all comes down to it. The best match was supposedly a "preview" to the X Cup at the May ppv and Ultimate X basically just built Joe/Daniels/Styles in a cage at Lockdown. I think they want to end alot of these feuds that ran tonight into the next ppv and do a huge blowoff of feuds/storylines via the means of the cage gimmick. I do know this much, having Christian-Brown to end this show just comes off boring too, hell even the Orlando crowd is quiet right now too. Would have been different if I felt some momentum from the earlier matches but the only one I really dug was the 4 way overall. They better have something up their sleeves for the ending of the ppv more than a cliche Sting run-in
Guest flair4thegold Report post Posted March 13, 2006 now they can play off the "Joe was never pinned" angle. It will be interesting to see the build up to the lockdown PPV, if in fact they do a match then.

RedJed 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 This is not a main event match AT ALL, guys. I can help but be really underwhelmed with TNA's effort tonight overall. They have managed to keep the Orlando quiet though, which is good and bad at the same time. BTW, I can already envision Daniels pinning Styles in the three way cage at Lockdown and Joe gets even further pissed and since he never lost, he moves on and gains more credibility because of it, moving into world title contention and out of the X division. Astro101 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Less than stellar match for the main event. Monty definitely needs to do some indy matches just to learn more.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Well, Christian's title reign lasts longer than Edge's.

Carnival 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 "I'm gonna make you a transitional champ just like your brother was up north"
RedJed 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 That was the most basic TNA main event since they started their monthly ppv format. Easily. There should have been something much more there than what they did. Nothing memorable or noteworthy at all. It's too bad because I think Christian has a ton of upside, but having matches like that isnt going to cut it. Brown shouldnt have been jobbing either - but he was overexposed tonight in the same breath so they really shot themselves in the foot with him.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Monty and JJ double team beat down on Jarrett...then comes abyss too. Rhino comes...out....typical ring filling crap.

mfn 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Joe screw job? I didn't watch, just heard Joe got jewed out of the belt.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 I THINK joe was going to get daniels down off the X and AJ hit him with a chair and saved Daniels. This was barely on camera, so i couldn't see it, and the announcers made no mention of it. VERY STUPID, if that was in fact what they were trying to pull off. edit: stupid = not showing or mentioning it, the idea for the finish is actually very good.
