Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2006 Yeah. Perhaps laughing in the theater wholeheartedly during Brokeback Mountain was a bad idea. Though I still say that the movie was fucking awful. My friends and I did that, we sat near the closest exit in order to make a quick getaway if we incited a rainbow riot. However, we were in the majority and most of the theater was laughing. Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2006 To show how old I am, believe it or not, the coke incident was during a showing of "Crimson Tide". Some other gems off the top of my head (although not as detailed, but it's 2 years worth of working at a movie theatre)... - kicking out a creepy guy who whipped out his crank and masturbated on opening day of "Clueless". In a sold out matinee show. And he was in the middle of the row in the middle of the theatre. Nuff said. - breaking up a fight between a father/teenage son combo and 2 gay guys who were having a lovers spat during "Braveheart". The gay guys wouldn't keep their verbal quarrel down and the father and son (who were with mother and sister) told the guys to take it outside. The gay guys weren't having it and pretty soon, bombs were being thrown. - throwing out a guy during a different "Braveheart" showing for standing up in his chair screaming about how he wanted to be free. - kicking out a teenage couple because the guy was fingerbanging his girlfriend during "Street Figher". - too many to count, but multiple ejections for weed smoking during "Dangerous Minds" and "Friday". - kicking out some teens for drinking beer during "The Lion King". (that was in my first month there) - kicked out a couple for fucking in the bathroom stall. I had sold them tickets to "The Prophecy". Before the show let out, the assistant manager and I (I was box office supervisor by this point) had gotten a complaint from a couple people that there were some people fucking in the mens bathroom. Since I was one of the designated "throw out" guys, I was sent. The entire walk to the bathroom, all I could think was "please don't let it be two guys, please don't let it be two guys". Once I got in, I could hear it wasn't and thanked God. Then I had to knock on the stall door, which was very awkward, and tell them they had to finish elsewhere. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2006 I'm starting to think that the idea of talking during a movie hasn't reached Charleston yet. As many threads as we've had about this over the last several years, it still hasn't happened with me yet. Well, not exactly, but the most I ever hear is a couple of whispers over the hour and a half or however long the movie is.

The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2006 DA, maybe if you let them keep going, she would've returned the favor with a handjob and he might've yelled "Hadoken"
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2006 The most "interesting" crowds I've worked with were in for "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." kicking out a creepy guy who whipped out his crank and masturbated on opening day of "Clueless". One day my friend and he new girlfriend went to see "Spare Baggage" or whatever the hell that Alicia Silverstone movie was, and they (of course) were one of the only ones in the theater. The one usher I was working with made a comment to me that these two kids were seriously making out in that auditorium. I asked what they looked like. When he described them, I knew it was him, so I went in, shined a flashlight at them and cleared my throat. That ruined the mood in a hurry; either that or my laughter afterward. I'm a playa hater. NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2006 I remember when I went to see the remake of "Psycho" during the scene where Vince Vaughn was spying on Anne Heche through the wall and he was masturbating, as soon as he finished, some dude about 4 rows from the back yelled...."ewww he got it all over the owl" The theater roared in laughter.
