Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus

Its my favorite feud. I find two hot chics making out quite entertaining. And not knowing if they will or if they wont, keeps me watching.

 

What they should do make Trish/Mickie a couple after WM, and then have part of their appeal being some making out after their matches (sort of like Lita/Edge)... They'd be completely over. Like way way over with the crowd.

 

But then gradually start teasing the crowd (since the crowd always wants them to kiss), and then finallly just flip off the crowd and cut a promo like "We arent here for your enjoyment you perves..." They'd get mass heel heat after that.

 

Honestly, if the WWE is serious about appealing to its largest audience (18-35 males), gives us lesbians... Not Billy/Chuck.

Personally, while I do agree that it has been well booked, which is a refreshing change for WWE, when it all comes down to it, it's still a stupid storyline with 2 women who can't act their way out of a paper bag. Good booking does not a good storyline make.

This is probably the only feud that I have enjoyed all year so far in WWE. BOTH of the main events for each brand have done nothing for me. Cena vs HHH hasn't captivated me, and I haven't watched Smackdown in months SIMPLY because I hate Smackdown. Actually, the same has happened for RAW, simply because I don't feel I need to watch any of it. Back then, I used to STOP everything just to make sure I watched RAW, but now...I am fine with reading results online.

 

Mickie/Trish has been a great feud, and what REALLY put it over the top was the bloody kiss on RAW. But, I agree with what was said before: Once this match happens, the women's division is pointless once again. For the first time ever, a women's match, along with the Money in the Bank match, are the 2 matches I am looking forward to.

If WWE was willing to be creative and smart, they could easily stretch this thing out another six months. They aren't creative, so it's pointless to consider what they could do when they aren't going to.

WWE is live. Anything can happen. Thats why I watch. If there's a chance Trish/Mickie make out, I'm gonna watch. It has nothing to do with them just being hot random chics. Its because the audience KNOWS them as characters.

But this story of Mickie/Trish, with two characters the audience knows, would work. I'd rather watch them than just about anything else the WWE is putting out there.

 

And the heel heat would be extreme when these two girls start being cock teases and start pissing off the crowd. It'd be the sort of heat that RTC and Steve Richards go, except it'd be legit.

It's the only feud right now that has some long-term sotrytelling and for that I like it sort of. As said before this harkens back to the long build with the Trish-Jericho-Christian triangle thing.

 

I just wish they would have explained why Trish came back all good and all after a year of being a total bitch. seriously where was the face turn? she turned cuz Viscera hurt her and gave her time to think everything through? she just showed up to help Ashley with no real reason.

 

I don't think Mickie is supposed to be a lesbian here, it's more of an admiration that has turned more obssesive over the months. Trish was nice to her at first but lately has been pushing her aside, making her upset and more vulnerable to a freakout conseriding her apprant mental state.

i havent watched wwe in a while, but when i was watching new years revolution, the james/trish match was the best part (except edge winning the gold - which john cena fucked up by kicking out of the frist spear)

 

and in all honesty, its the only fued that intrests me. not because its two chicks making out, because its the only fued which has feeling and point.

 

the foley/edge fued is, as someone else stated, is another foley/orten fued

 

and hhh/cena it just seems like its there and has no relevance.

 

the mcmahons/micheals fued seems to me that there just cashing in on the bret hart dvd coming out. vince, 1997 called, no one cares anymore, get over it.

 

orten/angle/mysterio is just cashin in on eddies death and is insulting.

It might be crossing the line, but I think it might be the right storyline to break the unofficial ban on women blading. They seem intent on getting this thing over, so they may as well go all the way, and Mickie leaving Trish a bloodied mess might really get this story over big. Or it might turn a lot of people off. But I think it's worth going for given what they've done so far.

It doesn't have to be a big cut, and it can be easy to hide if done right. All it needs is the usual tricks, and a little cut, hidden under her hair, and Trish could easily bleed a fair amount. If it gets her hair all matted up, even better, because it would look worse than it actually is.

If they can convince her that doing a blade job is worth it, she'd do it. She'll probably get expert advice on how to prevent significant scaring.

 

I think it'd be a good way to take this, because blood on girls in American mainstream wrestling isn't standard and to do something like that at Mania? That'd make it memorable.

I don't disagree, but I doubt the WWE would risk her even getting a little blade cut. I don't think it's a bad idea, I just say they can go a lot of directions to get the same result and make Mickie look just as insane if not moreso.

 

It's really sad that this really IS the most interesting feud.

To me, it'd be fucking insane to have WWE break its non-blading for females rule right now. The dynamic would be just amazing. On one end of the spectrum, we have females breaking barriers in WWE. On the other end, we have models who aren't trained in the ring.

That's another thing, besides the coherant though un-creative structure of this storyline that I enjoy...

 

It's two actual trained wrestlers involved in a in-depth and meaningful storyline at WWE's biggest stage. It's not the tired "Diva does Playboy, other diva gets mad, title match at Mania" or the "One girl called the other a slut". There's a point that is worth something in between two good (in the grand scheme of things) female wrestlers who are capable of making something out of this, which is more then we can say about last year's mess.

The biggest problem going this hotshot route is that eventually that people are going to stop popping for the lesbian kisses. They'll want something stronger, but WWE can't go any further. They're going to hit a wall when it comes to this sort of thing, and then what will they do? They'll have to go back to either trying to actually book wrestling, or they'll go into something even worse.
