The plusses:

 

1) From that pic she looks cute.

 

2) She's in a wheelchair, so with a broomstick to the spokes there's no escape for her.

 

The minuses:

 

1) Kid #1.

 

2) Kid #2.

 

Iggy has a good point about you not being experienced enough to handle this one. Do the kids live with her or the dad? Also, have you ever considered adopting some kitties? (I can’t remember if this was mentioned before, and I’m not going to bother to check.)

I haven't reached the desperation point where Id go after single moms..I dont do well with kids and I have no interest in having kids anytime in the near future. The 500 friends people strike me as being the ones that have big "look how many friends I have" egos and probably don't even know more than 10 of them in real life and don't want to..

 

I dont know how anyone can recommend Myspace over a dating site for someone that wants a dating service..

Hey man, do whatcha want. It's just that you've already aired your non-plus attitude towards kids. I've dated women with kids and won't again any time soon.

 

I still dont get how "I dont do well with kids" is a negative attitude. And honestly, Id wager most mid 20's guys dont do well with kids (even their own) so I see it as nothing out of the ordinary.

 

And honestly, I see this going no farther than the emails/myspace messages that I send her so it ultimately doesn't matter. And even if I got up the nerve to go forward, Im burried so far in the friend zone with all my emotional support and advice and general nice guy behavior that there aren't enough shovels in the world to dig me out, and thats if and when she gets over the crap with her exhusband and decides shes looking for more than friends.

You can get out of the friend so pretty easily if you play it right. But I don't think you are devious enough for it.

Oh yeah..I never mentioned I talked to a PT at work today and she told me that paraplegics often hole themselves up and aren't outgoing for the better part of a year or more once they get out of their initial rehab. The PT told me I probably shouldn't push trying to meet her but that I should just offer up my company if she ever wanted it instead of trying to set a firm meeting.

 

Which sounds about right given her affinity for changing her myspace layout just about every other day and her "I have no life" comment she left on mine.

She sent me another message all excited because she finished her PT and now shes looking towards taking driving lessons.

 

And I mentioned Im going to Hershey Park in 2 weeks and she said that next year she wants to go to a park "and whoever goes with me would be able to go in the handicapped line which is like going to the head of the class."

 

And shes posted a couple more recent photos.
