Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 No one seems to have found that picture of Cena’s Dad who works as an indy manager… too bad On to the notes: Shawn/Vince is getting the most layout work for WM, Dave hints at double juice and table spots Beniot vs JBL have had “PPV quality” house show bouts recently …long matches…. So they could steal the show in some way Taker has been working long matches with Mark Henry to “teach Henry as much as he could” prior to WM Kurt Angle’s bad neck acted up again this week Boogeyman suffered a torn biceps in a warm up vs Booker T this week… WM’s match may be canceled or way short and Boogey will be out for a while after WM Part of Bret’s reasoning for not signing a contract was that “I had a contract 10 years ago and they screwed me over on it. I know what contracts mean to them” There was an office snafu and most of the Guerrero family was not invited to the HOF, and will not be there. Cahvo jr paid his father’s way to get to the Ceremony tonight. Eddie’s mom wanted to attend but wasn’t invited. Eddie’s sister (?) works for an airline and got Eddie’s mom a flight in Mando and Hector and the other sister will all miss tonights show Come back for more notes I shall add in a bit......

Dips Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Meltzer said this in his update a couple of days ago.... In this coming Monday's Observer, when talking about a lot of the behind the scenes stuff at the Mania weekend, we had a story on much of the Guerrero family not being invited to the Hall of Fame, and several of his immediate family who wouldn't be there. As we had figured at the time, it was hardly an attempt to snub the family by management, but a mistake somewhere, lack of communication somewhere else, and some people in the company embarrassed but today everything was worked out, which wasn't easy because it was hard making last minute arrangements to get people into Chicago for the weekend. But when the right higher-ups found out, they sprung into action yesterday and today, and as of this afternoon, flights and hotel arrangements were made by the company for the entire family.
Placebo Effect Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Taker has been working long matches with Mark Henry to “teach Henry as much as he could” prior to WM That's wonderful. Boogeyman suffered a torn biceps in a warm up vs Booker T this week… WM’s match may be canceled or way short and Boogey will be out for a while after WM I always figured the match was just an excuse to showcase a big Boogeyman stunt or something for the Wrestlemania Highlight Reel.
Dips Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Didn't take long for your hard work of typing the notes up to get stolen... http://board.deathvalleydriver.com/index.php?showtopic=14388 Thanks for typing them up btw.
slimm44 Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Cena's dad was shown in his promo/workout video on Monday's RAW
Kahran Ramsus Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Speaking of the Hall of Fame, is it being aired anywhere?

Hawk 34 Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Speaking of the Hall of Fame, is it being aired anywhere? USA for Hart, Guerrero and Okerlund @ 11 et. WWE.COM for the first two hours. How hard is it to invite family members and plan for them to come to Chicago? They spent the last 4 months exploiting his death, the least they could do is put them up in a good hotel. I bet they stuffed them at the Motel 6. Henry, been in the business for 10 years. He still needs to learn? It would have been a semi-decent match if they didn't involve the casket. JBL/Benoit, is the expected MOTN and hearing it may get time is good news. They should scrap the Boogeyman match with some backstage skit with The T's running out of the arena after Boogeyman's latest stunt. Then throw in a *BONUS* WWE Tag Title match with MnM and Mexi-Cools.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 The rest: Dave spends 5+ pages on a recently deceased Roller Derby star...the longest obit I've seen in the observer HHH's training video on RAW lost 175,000 viewers Cena vs McMahon added nearly a million viewers Chris Jericho is working with the famous Improv comedians the groundlings in LA Rob Zombie is doing an animated movie called “The Haunted World of Super Beasto” which is a dark comedy about a washed up Mexican wrestler Ricky Morton got into a car wreck with his son, but appears OK Chyna has a role in the next National Lampoon movie ‘the Last Guy on Earth” costars Carol Burnett, Phillis Diller, Joan Rivers and Lily Tomlin among many others Axl Rotten is back in rehab Jake the snake continues to look horrid, his leg went out during a match recently (He now has a fake hip) and he laid on the mat after he was pinned all blown up and speaking in gurgling sounds Chyna has another VH 1 reality show coming soon as well Earl Hepner wrestled another ref on an indy show and insisted in storyline terms that a fair ref be chosen. Chyna has another VH 1 reality show coming soon as well NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Vince has been cleared of all charges in the tanning booth scandal Can someone give me the details on this? The Austin vs McMahon DVD has been changed to just “Mr. McMahon” also a “Best of the WWE Championship” DVD has been added. haws bah gawd Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 I'm glad theyre giving Sean O'Haire a second chance. It's just a shame they'll probably never let him fly like WCW did. Bret SERIOUSLY needs to stop his bitching. Wonderful, Cena vs McMahon gained nearly 1,000,000 viewers. I guess we know who's retaining their gold tomorrow.

haws bah gawd Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Vince has been cleared of all charges in the tanning booth scandal Can someone give me the details on this? Best I can remember, Vince apparently showed this girl (early 20's), some pictures of his 'genetic jackhammer' that he took on his cell phone.
claydude14 Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Figured I'd throw this here, saw it on 411. Believe it or not, WWE changed the finishes to five major WrestleMania 22 matches as recently as yesterday and remain unsure as to how to book the show. The indecisiveness, mainly on Vince McMahon's part, has made it impossible to plan the post-Mania schedule. WWE's top management is extremely stressed out at this point trying to finalize booking of the show. Credit: WrestlingObserver.com
Hawk 34 Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 They should call in Heyman to fix that problem but I'm sure Stephanie has everything under control.

Guest NateW Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 TNA’s PPV numbers have come in 25% higher than estimated recently Sean O Haire is expected to get a WWE tryout soon Any word what recent TNA PPV's these numbers are for? Also, What are the buyrate numbers coming at now? I don't ever recall reading anything about any recent TNA PPV buyrates. Also, in another subject, are there any other wrestlers that WWE is talking with right now about being signed?

BorneAgain Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 If the match with Booker/Boogeyman is cancelled I demand Booker: (A) Commentate for one Smackdown match (JBL-Benoit or MITB) or (B) Beat up Matt Hardy and take his place in MITB or (C ) Both.

ChrisMWaters Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 I know what the increased viewership for Cena/McMahon will lead to: Cena retaining at Mania thanks to Vince's help, screwing over Triple H.
