Guest nokia Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Mike Johnson just reported in the newest hot news hotline on PWInsider.com that some in TNA fear that Sabu is going to no show the Lockdown PPV. He was supposed to be at this weeks tapings and did not show up. They have tried to contact him as of late and he has not answered or returned there calls. Some people inside TNA are saying if he does not show up that it's more on TNA's hands then Sabu's because TNA may not have cleared the match with him 100% before announcing it. * First Liger, now Sabu.....Hmmmmm
Dobbs 3K Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Maybe they shouldn't book and announce matches before they're actually sure their guys can make it It's starting to make TNA look bush league.
luke-o Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Very good point. But if they dont announce the matches, whos going to care? Its better to hype the card rather than not.

claydude14 Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 So instead we get Daniels/Joe in a rematch?
2GOLD Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Just out of curiousity, why should TNA even have to check with Sabu to see if he can make it? Sabu is under contract so why the hell should they have to call and see if he's available to work? Liger, yeah different story. But Sabu? No.
Dobbs 3K Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Yes, so you'd think they'd be extra careful in booking him.
BruiserKC Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 With Sabu no-showing...I wouldn't mind seeing Joe vs. Homicide. They put on some great matches in ROH...although Homicide isn't established yet in the X Division to put them in the ring yet.

The LAX seem to job like mad to anything that breathes, don't they?
Fökai Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Just out of curiousity, why should TNA even have to check with Sabu to see if he can make it? Sabu is under contract- He's not under contract.
Dobbs 3K Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Exactly, he works on a per-appearance basis, as far as I know. If Sabu can't make it, that really puts TNA in a bind.
RedJed Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 If he isnt under contract, they should have signed him to a guaranteed appearance or else he'd forfeit a ridiculous amount of money, almost force a deposit so to speak. They gotta be more careful with their talent in situations like this, its obvious. Thought they learned their lesson but I guess not! I know we are all sick of it, but this would open up a chance for a final blowoff of Daniels/Styles/Joe - get Styles the fuck off Wargames (his involvement there is pointless and makes no sense) and put him and Daniels in this. And give Daniels the fuckin title back (via pinning Styles) and MOVE THE FUCK ON. Problem is that they dont have any additional TV taping to pull this move, and actually they now only have one Impact left to try to make a change if they have to. I suppose they could just add in soundbites and/or backstage segments on the next Impact too.
luke-o Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Christ, not another Joe/Daniels/Styles match. Not again. Sure they have great matches, but we dont need ANOTHER one.
Mystery Eskimo Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 They'd have to go with Joe/Daniels. Make it a pinfalls count anywhere match or something.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Yeah Joe/Daniels/AJ have had alot of matches, but why all the bitching? An extended series of good-great matches is a bad thing?
luke-o Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 now i would usually agree with you there. but the hard task of getting my housemates to watch TNA is becoming harder becuse they wanna see more guys go for the X gold than Joe/Daniels and AJ
Scroby Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 They'd have to go with Joe/Daniels. Make it a pinfalls count anywhere match or something. Ummm all the Lockdown matches are in cages. So if Joe and Sabu doesn't happen and Daniels vs Joe does, we won't have a pinfalls count anywhere match at all......and if we do get that, THAT WOULD BE THE DUMBEST STIPULATION FOR A CAGE MATCH EVER!

Actually, the dumbest stipulation for a cage match ever would be if it was a Casket Match.
