Favorite Arn Anderson match

Recommended Posts

My favorite match was The Enforcer against Lord Steven Regal at WCW Superbrawl 4 in 1994. I even have that match on my computer's media center. A great Double A match from the pre-Hogan era in WCW.

vs. Barry Windham, Slamboree 1993. Arn's one legit shot at winning a World Title, and he comes *this close* to doing so only for emotion to get the better of him.

If we're talking singles, then probably his TV title match with Bobby Eaton at SuperBrawl 91.

The best match he was ever in, though, was the Wargames match from 1992, with Sting's Squadron vs. the Dangerous Alliance.

Not sure for a singles match to name. However, my favorite tag match with him had Arn and Zybsko taking on Dustin Rhodes and a newly returning Ricky Steamboat.

The match took place at a Clash of the Championsbut I can't remember which one.

Yeah, that was pretty fantastic. That was one of the few times I could remember really being surprised at a mystery partner. I had no idea Steamboat was coming back to WCW.

I liked "The Enforcers" tag team of Double A and Larry Z, but I thought Arn and Eaton's team was a bit better.

Arn vs. Hulk Hogan on Nitro...I marked out like a mother when Double A beat the Hulkster.

And it was pretty awesome to see AA score another win over Hogan the following week. Granted, the 2nd win was via DQ, but I marked out anyway.

Other than some of the ones mentioned, I enjoyed Arn and Blanchard vs Harts at a summerslam, around 89 or 90. I liked the horsemen beatdowns on Rhodes, Morton, etc, just as much as most of his matches, really got the fans at the time heated up.
