I really started to lose interest this show at some point in Season 2...however Margene getting railed is always a highlight for me.

Season 3 has just been outstanding so far. I am very impressed with where the storylines are going.

I loved Albie's mom telling her son she had no idea about who tried to kill him...but he should know better than to be in those kinds of places "tap tap"

 

Last year's Weber Gaming storyline took me out of the show a little bit, and the casino talk this season isn't doing a lot for me.

 

And Frank is far and away my favorite character. Bruce Dern is just awesome in the role

Thus far in the series I'd have to say my biggest issue with the series is the Margine character. I have a hard time buying that she would have ever joined this family in the first place, and even as a part of it, she doesn't doesn't seem to fit in with this lifestyle what-so-ever, and it always seems she is one argument away from just running away. There is nothing about her character that says, "I want to be in a polygamist family" Of course, that may be the irony of why her character exists in the first place.....but still.

So last night was the Season 3 finale, and daaaaaaayum, it had some great moments.

 

Roman Grant being suffocated to death by Joey

 

Nikki snatching up her first daughter and bringing her to the family, I think she found her ticket back in

 

Nice setup for next season. This has got to be one of the best shows on TV that a lot of people aren't watching.

Show's been over a week or so now, not using spoilers.

 

I doubt that Joey killed Roman, mostly for the reason that Joey screws up everything he does. I mean he looked dead, but even the DA said that they were gonna raid the compound within the next 24 hours anyway, I think he's saved.

 

I feel like a dick, my favorite characters on this show are Roman, Frank, and Hollis Green...all the bastards.

 

I didn't care for the casino storyline this year, like I didn't care for video poker deal last season. Overall though it was a pretty good season. Albie nearly blowing himself up was very funny.
